We cut to the dressing room of Bill Barnhart. He is dressed and ready to go for his match with Matthew Toddi. When he is told he is live on the TRON he makes a few statements.
Here we are at another Insomnia where I get to open the Card with the opening match. Tonight I have a match against a young and promising wrestler, Matthew Toddi. Matthew, I hope you have talked to your brother Chaos to remind him to not interfere in our match. I want to see what you can do against me on your own without any outside help. I also give notice to Krusher to back off and do not interfere in our match. I have Rebellion members watching the ring and I have asked them to keep all outsiders outside of our ring. Toddi...I want you to give me a fight...I want you to prove to me what I already know...that you have what it takes to be a top dog in Asylum Wrestling Alliance and all you need to do is focus and wrestle. I am not saying you are going to defeat me tonight, but if you do I assure you that I will congratulate on your accomplishment. I rarely encourage opponents but I want you to know that I want you to give me your best wrestling and give me a hard match. See you in the ring in a few minutes.
The TRON goes black and we return to Tex and Duff at ringside.
Vs.
Tex: Bulldog and Toddi are ready to rip each other apart this week!
Duff: This should be a good start to the card that we have going on today. Let’s check out the announcements from Stormy!
Stormy: This match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Oakland, California, weighing at 240 lbs….BILL “BULLDOG” BARNHART!!!!!!!!!!!!
DON'T WORRY...BE HAPPY by Bobby McFerrin hits the speakers. The TRON crackles to life and we see a close-up shot of Bill Barnhart and Iris his English Bulldog. The TRON then shifts scenes to seversl clips of Bill's wrestling matches where he is either administering his Bulldog or Piledriver to his opponent. The spotlights focus on the backstage curtains and we see Bulldog Bill Barnhart step through the curtains leading Iris on her leash (Iris is not always present at Bill's matches though). Bill comes out dressed in one of his trademark wrestling outfits (either the pink outfit with black trim witn ablack heart sewn over his heart...or the black outfit with pink trimp with a pink heart swen over si heart). Iris is dressed in her Pink Diamont-Studded Dog Collar. Bill walks confidently along the entrance walkway and under the TRON. As he walks under the TRON, pink and white pyros erupt causing a cascade of pink sparks to spill down on the entrance walkway around Bill (and Iris if she is accompanying him). Bill stops at the landing at the top of the entrance ramp to play the crowd with a huge smile on his face. He then takes off with a quick pace to the ring. When Bill arrives at the ring he (hands the leash of Iris to an attendant at ringside) climbs the ring steps, walks along the ring apron, and then ducks through the ropes into the ring. Bill walks around the ring to acknowledge all the people in the crowd and he maintains his huge smile all the time. Bill then takes up residence in a corner to await the arrival of his opponent.
Stormy: Introducing his opponent! From Detroit, Michigan, weighing at 225 lbs….MATTHEW TODDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Toddi's theme hits as he is introduced and he walks out looks at the fans who are booing him and then he raises his hood over his head and places arms out to sides as red and white spark pyro comes out from above and the sides of him!He then walks and slides into the ring, takes another look at the fans raises his arms with one hand index finger and thumb up and other hand just index. He then teases throwing his hoodie to the crowd as he gives it to the announcer and warms up by pulling the ropes until the ring bell hits.
Duff: Oh wow! Matthew’s already going for the attack and Bulldog is already taking a beating!
Tex: Matthew’s a bit too quick, so Bulldog may have to somehow reverse the tide!
As the bell rings, the two lock up, but neither gain a good hold and break it off. But Matthew is quick to kick Bulldog in the stomach and land him in the pavement with a quick DDT! He turns him around and goes for the pin! 1…2….but Bulldog kicks out! He picks up Bulldog and throws him to the ropes, but Bulldog’s agility takes over and gets a good shot with a spinning, flying elbow to his face! Then he inches forward towards him, grabs him and drops the challenger to the mat with a quick powerslam! Bulldog goes for his own cover as the referee counts it! 1….2…but Matt barely got the shoulder up. Bulldog is back on his feet, getting Matt back onto his feet before throwing him into the lower-left corner. He then weakens Matt a bit with a couple of good punches to the stomach, causing Matt to almost keel over. Then Bulldog takes a step back and goes to squash him with a cross-body splash. But Matt is quick to gain his bearings as his leaps in the air, using help from the ropes, and kicks Bulldog in the face, the big man staggering away as he clutches his face. Matt quickly jumps on the post, then leaps off it and slams Bulldog to the canvas with a bulldog! The crowd boos Matthew Toddi as he poses to the crowd, talking a bit of trash. Then he turns around and kicks him down like a dog, Bulldog feeling the pain in his ribs. Matthew picks up his foe and goes for a suplex, but Bulldog’s agility once again takes over and he slips out of his grasp and falls to his feet. Then he pushes Matt from behind and Matt is then slammed into the upper-right post, his chest colliding with the post. Bulldog then goes for a german suplex and once that move connects, he transforms it into a pin! 1….2…but Matt kicks him with both feet and rolls backward as Bulldog grabs both sides of his head with his hands. Matt hits the ropes, jumps on the top one, then leaps backwards and connects with a nice moonsault! Bulldog is laid out, in the middle of the ring, as Matthew goes for the cover, hooking the leg as the referee counts it! 1….2…but Bulldog barely gets the shoulder up! Matt glares at the referee and tells him to count faster, but the referee tells him that he counted just fine! Matt dismisses the ref and goes to drop an elbow, but Bulldog rolls away in time as the pain instantly rushes up into his arm. Bulldog kips up to his feet, then surprises the audience with a 360 tornado kick directly into Matt’s jaw as he is now on one knee, too focused on the arm to not see the foot coming!
Tex: Bulldog is well on his way to recovering and giving Matt a run for his money right now!
Duff: Bulldog better be smart and get the pin here before the opportunity passes and Matt gets revenge!
Bulldog does exactly that, going for the pin, hooking the leg, the referee getting in the count. 1……2…..but Matt barely got the shoulder up! Bulldog picks Matt and throws him to the ropes. As Matt returns, Bulldog goes for a clothesline, but Matt ducks underneath the move, runs to the ropes, bounces back, and chops blocks Bulldog before he could turn around! As Bulldog falls to the ground on one knee, Matt stands in front of his fallen foe, grabs Bulldog by the head with both hands, and proceeds to knee his opponent in the face at least five times before ending his knee assault with a vicious knee rush. Bulldog falls to the mat, but Matt isn’t done with him yet. As he picks him up, we can see that blood from Bulldog’s nose is beginning to pour out. Satisfied with his work, he gets a few punches into his stomach before attempting another DDT, but Bulldog counters it with a backbody drop! Matt quickly stands up, arching his back in pain, but Bulldog dropkicks Matt in the back, sending him staggering forward. Matt turns around and goes for a charging clothsline, but Bulldog sides to the side and drags his opponent down with a toe hold. Bulldog then goes for a stfu-like maneuver and it seems to be doing the job, considering how much screaming Matt is doing! But Matt refuses to give up and manages to crawl over and finally get a hold of the bottom rope, the referee yelling at Bulldog to get go. Bulldog pulls away, allowing Matt to recover his breath, as the referee is trying to get Bulldog to back off, warning him about the submission hold and how long you can have the hold for. Matt is now back on his feet, the referee behind Barnhart as he charges forward. The referee, however, did not see the quick kick to the jewels as Bulldog keels over, holding them, his eyes as wide as dinner plates. The crowd, however, saw the kick to the groin and immediately booed Matthew Toddi out of the building as he strikes Bulldog with the MKO!!!! Matthew Toddi finally goes for the cover, thinking that he won the match, the referee taking in the count. The referee slapped the mat twice, but stopped himself the third time. Matt looked over at the referee, wondering why he stopped, but the ref pointed and he followed its direction…now seeing Bulldog’s left foot on the bottom rope! Matthew Toddi, realizing his mistake, drags him back, then picks up the dizzied man, talking some more trash to his face, even going far as to spit in his face! He then goes for another MKO, but Bulldog shoves him off, Matt gaining some traction so as to not lose complete balance. He turns around, but Bulldog strikes with a spinning spinebuster, crashing Matt to the mat with tremendous impact! Bulldog hooks the leg and the referee counts it in! 1…..2……3!!!!!!!!!! The bell rings as Bulldog rolls off him, wiping off the blood away from his nose, then rising to his feet as the referee brings his arm up!
Stormy: Here is your winner – BILL “THE BULLDOG” BARNART!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duff: Matt had the right idea, but Bulldog was too close for the ropes, which prevented him from losing!
Tex: True, but Matt also wasted a lot of time in doing his thing. He should have pulled off another MKO, but in the end, Bulldog gained the advantage and the victory!
Bulldog climbs up the top rope and begins to celebrate as the fans cheers loudly for him. Matthew Toddi rolls of the ring as the referee follows, checking up on him as we see a commercial for the next PPV hitting the Titantron, along with the television airwaves!
Winner:
The camera cuts backstage where we find Stormy Canyon standing by for an interview with one of tonight's participants in the main event
Stormy Canyon: I am backstage with a man who has been on quite the rollercoaster ride these last few months here in the AWA, someone who we will see not only in a moments time competing but also later on tonight, again in the main event as the guest referee, he is the Monster CHAOS!
Chaos: You sure know how to give an introduction Stormy I'll give ya that, oh yes tonight is certainly a packed show for me, in just a few short moments I will be heading out to that ring and doing what I do best, I will be out wrestling Eric Corrayo, when I am through making him tap out in the centre of that ring I will move on to referee the main event between Krusher and Chris Shipman
The crowd cheers at the mention of tonight's main event as he grins a little
Stormy Canyon: This certainly is a personal match for you, I mean between you and Krusher there has been a lot of tension building since WrestleQuest II....
Chaos: Tensions doesn't even begin to cover it Stormy, but I see where your question was headed, will I screw Krusher out of this match? Only time will tell I guess, I can only say this, I have one plan heading into this match, watching Chris Shipman beat the living hell out of him, I don't care if Chris wins just as long as he does some damage to the man some call my “brother”...
The crowd cheers again, Chaos takes it all in and waits for the crowd to calm down a moment before continuing
Chaos: Last week I was about to become AWA Universal champion, everyone knows it but Krusher cost me it, this has to come to an end, I plan on going after that belt once more and you had all better believe that before the end of 2010 Chaos will have become AWA Universal champion however before that can happen I have to take care of the man that has been slowing my progress towards it, Krusher!
The crowd is at fever pitch after his emotional words and he ain't done yet taking the microphone from Stormy and taking centre screen all to himself
Chaos: Krusher, at the next PPV or if you decide that you suddenly can't make the next PPV then at the following PPV, quite frankly I don't care when but sooner rather than later I am challenging you to a match, one on one but not just any match, if we are going to do this we are going to do it in a brutal fashion.... I say.... Chaos vs Krusher, one on one in an ambulance match!!! This is no ordinary match to begin with, if we are going to battle I know the only way for it to end is for one of us to end up in a hospital!
But wait there is more there is added stips... If i win you will do what I say for the next month no matter what it is... if its carry my bags, help me out at ringside or wipe my ass... I will take the one thing that you have left, your pride! However if you win you can take something of mine, my hair!
The crowd is in shock at the challenge thrown down by the monster at his brother Krusher but he has just a few more words to say for the night is out
Chaos: So there you have it "brother" Pride vs. Hair: an ambulance match, I want this shit to finally stop, for years since the GWA it has been carrying on and I want it to end, so if you accept, at the next PPV.... I will see you in hell Krusher.,...
The sold out crowd goes nuts chanting his name over and over again at deafening levels, he stands there determined before handing the mic' back to Stormy he looks at the camera for a moment, the crowd still cheering loudly as he walks off screen
Vs.
Stormy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 245 pounds…Eriiiic Corrayoooooo!!!
The opening guitar rift to “Knee Deep” by CKY egos into the arena. The fans jump to their feet cheering loud the “Cor-Ray-Yo” chants begin as the red smoke billows from the entrance way. As the music builds up Eric Corrayo steps from the smoke and looks out to the crowd of cheering fans. He remains calm and begins to strut down the ramp. He walks up the steps and into the ring. He walks around the ring taking in the energy of the crowd before he tosses his glasses to the time keeper and stands in his corner.
Duff: Well, at least he isn’t beaming tonight!
Tex: And we all know why. Last week he lost the AWA Television Championship to our resident psycho, Chris Shipman. After he fought so hard to regain it at this past pay per view.
Duff: He can cry about it later. He’s got bigger problems in the form of Chaos to deal with! And you know what? I think he’s going to lose again!
Tex: As long as you call the match and actually pay attention for once, that’s fine. You’re entitled to your own opinion.
Duff: Well, well, well. Look who’s finally seen the light…
With Corrayo waiting for his opponent, the lights in the arena go dark and suddenly AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long" hits over the PA and the lights from the stage burst into life as the lyrics quickly build to the chorus as Chaos makes his way out onto the stage.
Stormy: And his opponent, from Orlando, Florida, weighing in at 275 pounds….he is The Monster and Wrestling Machine….CHAAAAAOOOOOOOS!!!
Chaos raises his hands into the air as a barrage of pyro shoots upwards from the stage sending the crowd into a frenzy. Chaos continues to walk down to the ring and up the stairs, climbs into the ring and jumps to the second rope, raising his hands once more as another set of pyro shoots down from the arena roof behind Chaos. He jumps down as the music fades and he is ready to get down to business, looking right to where Corrayo stands.
Tex: Chaos looks ready to go, just like he always seems to be.
Duff: It’s a good thing too. He’s got this match and then he’s our referee for the main event later on tonight. Busy night for him, but he’ll do what he needs to do.
The bell rings at ringside and Referee Simon Jones watches nearby as Chaos and Corrayo tie up in the center of the ring, neither of them wasting any time. Corrayo doesn’t waste much time trying to see who is the stronger of the two either as he switches position to behind Chaos, suddenly jumping up a bit and delivering an axe kick to the back of Chaos. Chaos reaches for his back, already looking as if he’s in pain.
Tex: Eric being smart right there. Chaos’s back problems have been chronic over the past several years and are well noted.
Duff: Chaos will remain tough though. You’ll see. EVERYONE will see!
Corrayo follows up by turning Chaos around and hooking him up. Corrayo goes to lift up Chaos to attempt an Exploder Suplex, but Chaos blocks the attempt. Corrayo still has his arms latched and goes for it again, this time able to take Chaos up and over and down to the mat. Chaos crash lands and Corrayo quickly turns and goes for the cover. The referee is right there.
Referee Simon Jones: 1…2…
Eric figured that it wouldn’t be enough so he doesn’t complain, even though disappointment is written all over his face. Corrayo instead goes to set Chaos up for another move that’s in his arsenal, but this time Chaos thwarts that plan by sticking out his leg and tripping Corrayo up. Corrayo stumbles around the ring for a bit until he falls victim to a clothesline from the Monster.
Tex: Uh oh…
Duff: Told ya Tex!
Chaos goes down to the mat now and begins to lock on a Boston Crab, but Corrayo only allows him to get one leg locked. Corrayo leaps forward and grabs a hold of the bottom rope, forcing Chaos to break the hold. Chaos leaves it in for 3 seconds of the referee’s count before breaking it off and backing up. Corrayo pulls himself up and just shakes his head. Chaos however shows no wasted motion and simply clotheslines Corrayo up and over the top rope. However Corrayo maintains his balance and lands on the apron. Chaos however grabs at Corrayo’s head and bounces it off the top rope. With Corrayo dazed, Chaos pulls his opponent back into the ring, dropping him right to the mat head first. Chaos looks down and is pretty sure that he hasn’t done enough damage yet. He seems to be thinking as he pulls Corrayo back to his feet.
Tex: Corrayo in trouble. Chaos looks like he’s about to take command here.
Duff: And it will be…TOTAL ANNIHILATION!!! As it should be.
Chaos delivers a quick sidewalk slam that puts Corrayo back on the canvas but doesn’t stop there. He lifts Corrayo up just enough into the air to spin him and then drop him down and out with a power bomb.
Duff: Chaos showing off that raw power that will make him AWA Universal Champion material!
Tex: He’ll no doubt get another chance, but let’s focus on the here and now. He has not put away Corrayo yet.
Duff: Oh please, Chaos is just toying with his prey now!
Chaos goes for a pin and the referee is once again there for the count.
Referee Simon Jones: 1…2…thr-
Corrayo kicks out before the referee’s hand can come down. Chaos gets a bit red in the face, but now turns up the heat. He doesn’t allow Corrayo any relaxation time as he pulls Corrayo back up to his feet. Eric, still a tiny bit groggy from the power bomb, lunges forward and goes to hit an STO backbreaker on Chaos, but as soon as Corrayo leaves his feet to go and hit it, Chaos uses his strength to put Corrayo up over his head and suddenly spin him around once before dropping him down to the mat with the Annihilator Slam. Chaos hooks both legs and pins the former AWA Television Champion’s shoulders to the mat. The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction as the referee counts.
Referee Simon Jones: 1…2…3!!!!
Duff: And this one’s over. It’s just like I said…
"You Shook Me All Night Long" hits over the PA as Referee Simon Jones grabs Chaos’s arm and raises it in victory.
Stormy: Here is your winner of the match…Chaaaoooooos!!!
Chaos has a look of satisfaction on his face as he now exits the ring, his business for the night now complete. Back in the ring Corrayo is getting back up, once again shaking his head, this time in total disappointment. Drooping his head he gets out of the ring and just looks around at the crowd in attendance. He stares for a few moments before he to vacates the ringside area.
Tex: I don’t know what to think about that from Corrayo.
Duff: It’s simple. He is doubting himself, as he should. He lost to Shipman and now he’s lost to Chaos. I wonder how long it will be before he loses it to be honest…
The AWA cameras keep the focus on Eric Corrayo as the scene simply fades out to a commercial break…
Winner:
The scene switches to the back where we see Big Bad Casey. He is seen walking around the backstage area. He sees the camera and gives a sinister looking smirk.
Casey: I was originally going to have a match with Big Bad John this week, but he has had some personal issues come up, so unfortunately, we cannot tear the roof off the joint this week. I was really hoping to face him too, but oh well, I get more time to rest up for whatever match I may have at the Pay Per View.
Casey then decides to take a drink of Gatorade. After a moment, when he has quenched his thirst, he continues.
Casey: I am sure some of you doubt my skills as a wrestler. Those of you who do, look at the match I just had with Dmitri last week. I know that match was not the best match of mine, but it shows how dominant I really can be when I have my mind set to it.
Then the scene goes into airing the match Big Bad Casey had with Dmitri the week before. Once it airs, the scene changes.
Vs.
We watch as a 16 foot high steel cage is lowered around the ring at the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The crowd murmurs as they watch the steel cage being lowered. We cut to Tex Martin and Duff Travers as they explain how this match is going to work between Modo and Hank Henry III for the International Title.
TEX: What we have here is a 16 foot high steel cage which surrounds the ring. For this match the steel cage is open at the top and the only way to win is to be the first wrestler to climb out of the ring and land both feet on the arena floor. You are not going to win with a pinfall or submission in this match.
DUFF: I agree that this is the most interesting form of a cage match in that you cannot easily walk out the door for the win. It also makes the match interesting because you don't just pin your opponent or make them submit, you have to beat down your opponent and then still have enough energy to climb up the wall of the cage, go over the top, and then down the outside to the arena floor.
TEX: Every time we have had a cage match where the winner must climb out and be the first to land both feet on the arena floor we have had a very close match and very brutal also.
DUFF: Without a doubt this type of brutal match favors the brutal style of Hank Henry III.
The lights in the arena dim as strobe lights flash around the crowd and the crowd is on their feet in anticipation of this match and in anticipation of the arrival of Modo. BYOB by System of a Down hits the speakers and the camera focuses on Modo as he is way up high in the seats among the fans. Modo walks down the steps of the arena as the fans pat him on the back, they shake his hand, and he HIGH-FIVES the fans. As he arrives at the bottom of the steps Modo leaps over the barricade, walks over to the ring, climbs the ring steps, and then he steps through the door and into the ring with the cage around it. Modo then leaps up into a corner, raises both hands into the air in a victory pose, and as the crowd cheers him on he leaps off the ropes, walks to the middle of the ring, and when he throws his hands in the air again, pyros erupt from the ring posts, much to the delight of the fans.
TEX: Oh, man, we are going to see Modo hand Hank Henry III his head on a silver platter tonight! We are going to finally see a new International Champion.
Duff picks up the cup which is in front of Tex Martin and from which Tex has been drinking out of and he sniffs the contents of the cup.
DUFF: SNIFF...SNIFF!!! What the hell do you have in that cup Tex? Do I have to have the Paramedics come out here and give you a urinalysis to see if you are taking drugs if you think Modo is going to win this match against Hank Henry III?
STORMY CANYON: Here is your first participant in this match, he is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he stands 6 feet 6 inches tall, and he weighs in at 245 pounds, please welcome MODO!!!!!
The crowd again erupts into a cheer for Modo but their cheering is shortened as they are interrupted as the lights dim, we hear ROLLING by Soul Coughing over the speakers, and the spotlights focus on the entrance area where we see Hank Henry III come out from backstage with his manager, Chaplin Graves, by his side. As they walk under the TRON pyros erupt and the sparks cascade around them. After the pyros subside Hank Henry III and Chaplin Graves walk down the entrance ramp toward the ring. When they get to the ring Hank Henry III walks up the ring steps and enters the ring. Much to our surprise we watch as Chaplin Graves turns and walks back up the entrance ramp and back to the backstage area instead of remaining at ringside. Hank Henry III walks to the middle of the ring and plays the crowd to a chorus of boos from the crowd. We see Referee Chip Long enter the ring.
TEX: Okay, that was a very odd maneuver on the part of Chaplin Graves. Usually he remains at ringside so he can interfere in the match and give Hank Henry III a cheap victory.
DUFF: Maybe this is what I have been talking about Tex. There is no way to cheat in a Cage Match like this. I am sure that Hank Henry III and Chaplin Graves talked and they came to an agreement that Hank Henry III would not have Chaplin remain at ringside so that when he wins there will be no question that he did is on his own.
STORMY CANYON: Here is your next participant in this match, he hails from Ellis, New York, he stands 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 248 pounds, he is the current International Champion, give a warm welcome to HANK HENRY III!!!!!
The crowd erupts into a loud chorus of boos upon the announcement of Hank Henry III. Stormy Canyon leaves the ring and the Referee on the outside of the ring closes the door on the steel cage and he locks the door shut to prevent either wrestler from escaping that way. Referee Chip Long explains to Hank Henry III and Modo that the only way to win is to be able to climb up the cage wall, go over the top, and be the first wrestler to land both feet on the arena floor. He further informs them that this is an International Title match and the winner will be the International Champion. Referee Chip Long looks over at the Timekeeper and he tells him to ring the bell to start the match. The bell rings and this match is officially underway. The two wrestlers lock up in the middle of the ring and very quickly Modo slips out of the hold, drops to the mat, he then grabs Hank Henry III by his waistband and he pulls him over his head causing Hank to slam into the ropes with enough force to also cause him to hit the steel cage. Fortunately for Hank Henry III he didn't hit his face on the cage, but it appears he hit his shoulder on the cage. Hank Henry III pulls back from the cage and as he does Modo grabs him and places him into a hammerlock which puts a lot of pressure on the shoulder. Referee Long watches on as there isn't much he can do except watch the action since there are no pinfalls or submissions. Hank Henry is in obvious pain as the hammerlock is cinched up and the pain on his shoulder is kicking in.
TEX: Well it would appear that Modo is taking the hurt to Hank Henry III early in this match.
DUFF: Oh come on, the match is only a minute into it. Hank Henry III is not going to get knocked out of a match that quickly.
Hank is trying to get out of the hammerlock and his only option is to bring the elbow on his free arm back and into the head and face of Modo. He does this several times and finally Modo breaks the hammerlock. While Modo is regaining his wits Hank Henry III rebounds off the ropes and he lands a drop kick to Modo which drives Modo back and into the ropes. In the process his head snaps back and the back of his head slams against the steel cage. Modo reaches up to his head and then he checks his hand for blood. There is no blood on his hand which means that he isn't cut from the blow against the steel cage. Modo lunges forward to grab Hank but Hank Henry side-steps him and shoves him into the ropes. Modo goes head-first through the ropes and smacks his head into the steel cage. This time he has a small cut from the hit on the steel cage. While Modo is distracted Hank Henry leaps up on the ropes and he starts to climb the wall of the steel cage. It is mostly using his arms as it is hard to get a foot hold on the cage while wearing wrestling boots. We see Hank Henry III slowly make his way up the steel cage. Modo stands up and looks over and sees that Hank Henry is about half way up the cage and he realizes he needs to get up on the cage quickly. Modo runs across the ring and he leaps upon the ropes. He then grabs onto the cage and starts to climb up after Hank Henry III. Hank is moving toward the top of the cage and just as he reaches up and grabs onto the top of the cage Modo reaches up and grabs Hank Henry by the leg. Hank desperately tries to kick Modo to make him release the hold on his leg but once he starts kicking his legs he loses what little footing he had and now he is hanging on to the top of the cage by just his hands and that is not comfortable. The added weight of Modo hanging off his legs is too much for Hank Henry III and he loses his grip on the top of the cage wall. Modo realizes that Hank Henry is falling but he cannot do much more than hang on to the legs of Hank and both of them fall to the mat. Hank Henry III hits the mat first with Modo falling on top of him. Both men are stunned by the drop from the cage wall. Referee Chip Long stands there looking at the two wrestlers as he cannot do much until they climb out of the cage.
TEX: I give credit to Modo for preventing Hank Henry from climbing out of the cage, but both of them hit the mat hard, so it will depend on who can get up first as to who will have the advantage.
DUFF: Yeah, I feel bad for Referee Long as there isn't anything he can do while the two wrestlers are out. I guess he shouldn't complain since he still gets paid for working the match.
Both wrestlers are stirring and they crawl toward each other. Both are throwing blows while on their knees but neither is having much effect on the other since their blows don't have a lot of power behind them. Modo manages to get to his feet first and he drags Hank Henry III to his feet, bends him over, and hits him with a DDT. Figuring he has Hank out Modo walks over to the corner, climbs the ropes, and he starts up the side of the cage. He is slowly making his way toward the top of the cage while Hank Henry III is shaking out the cobwebs. Hank realizes that Modo is making his way up the cage so he runs into the corner, pulls himself up on the ropes, and he stands on top turnbuckle and he reaches up but he cannot grab the leg of Modo. Hank decides to climb the cage wall next to Modo. He manages to get up even with Modo and Hank reaches out and starts kicking Modo. Modo tries to kick back in return but when he does he loses his grip and nearly falls. Hank Henry manages a hard kick to the lower back of Modo and this causes Modo to lose his grip on the cage and fall to the mat. He lands on his back and he has the wind knocked out of him. Hank slips a bit on the cage and slips down to the top of the corner turnbuckle padding.
TEX: That was a bad break for Modo.
DUFF: You got that wrong Tex. It was not a bad break for Modo...it was a nice move on the part of Hank Henry III.
In a very unusual move on the part of Hank Henry III, we watch as he jumps off the top turnbuckle and back into the ring instead of trying to climb up the cage wall again. We watch as Hank walks over to Modo and he pulls him up into a sitting position and then he stands behind him. We see Hank reach into his wrestling tights and pull out a metal fork which seems to be his trademark weapon lately. The fans gasp as Hank drags the tongs of the fork across the forehead of Modo causing Modo to bleed. Hank then maneuvers Modo into a Piledriver position and he drops Modo hard into the mat. After the Piledriver Hank gets up and slowly walks over to the corner and he once again starts to climb the cage wall while Modo is lying on the mat bleeding.
TEX: You know what? I am getting tired of Hank Henry always using that fork in a match. That's illegal to use a weapon!
DUFF: It is not illegal in a cage match like his Tex. Sheesh!
Hank Henry slowly climbs the wall of the steel cage but he doesn't get up very far before Modo has recovered enough to see him and reach up and pull him off the wall. Hank falls off the steel cage wall and he lands hard on his back on the mat. Modo stomps on Hank Henry a few times and then he drags Hank to his feet. Modo whips Hank Henry into the ropes and he catches him with a drop kick on the rebound. He then drags Hank Henry to his feet again and this time he gets behind Hank and drives him forward and through the ropes causing Hank's face to hit hard on the steel cage. As Hank comes off the cage we can see he is also cut on the forehead and he is now bleeding also. Modo drags Hank Henry III to his feet, places him in a side headlock and he executes a Bulldog, driving the face of Hank Henry hard into the mat. Modo then walks over to the corner and starts to climb the steel cage wall for the win.
TEX: Here we go! Modo is going for the win!
DUFF: Hank Henry isn't out of this match yet.
Modo is slowly climbing up the wall of the steel cage. Hank Henry is slowly coming around and as he looks up he realizes that Modo is making his way up the cage wall. Modo is about 6 feet up the wall when Hank Henry walks over to the corner and climbs the ropes and then he grabs onto the cage wall and he also starts climbing the cage wall. Modo is about 8 feet up now and Hank Henry is a few feet behind him. Both wrestlers continue climbing the best they can with what energy they have remaining. We watch as both wrestlers continue climbing and they are about 12 feet up the cage wall and they are at the same level now. Modo is on one side of the corner on one wall of the cage and Hank Henry III is on the opposite side of the corner on the other wall. They are close enough to be able to reach out and try to punch and kick each other but their blows are not having much effect on the other. Referee Chip Long calls to the Referee outside the ring to make sure he is in the proper place to call the match to determine which wrestler lands both feet on the arena floor first. Modo and Hank both reach the top of the cage and both are straddling the cage with one leg on one side of the cage and one leg on the other side of the cage. They are facing each other and they are trading blows, putting every ounce of energy they have left in them. As they continue to punch each other we watch as Modo reaches back and hits Hank Henry III in the side of the head as hard as he can. This causes Hank to fall over toward the outside of the ring. When Modo realizes what he just did in causing Hank Henry III to fall toward the outside of the ring, and he realizes that if Hank falls to the arena floor first that he will lose, he does the only thing he can do which is to reach out and wrap his arms around Hank and fall off the cage with him. The crowd lets out a collective OH SHIT as they watch Hank Henry III and Modo fall off the top of the cage and fall the 16 feet toward the arena floor. As they fall the fans realize that they are dropping toward the Timekeeper's Table and that it is likely they will hit the table during their fall. The Timekeeper realizes it also and he quickly bails out as the two wrestlers hit he table. We watch as the Timekeeper's table crumbles into a heap. The Referee on the outside of the ring was watching but it is hard to tell what happened when the wrestlers hit the table and the table smashed into a heap. The Referee on the outside of the ring calls Referee Chip Long to come outside the ring so they can review the Instant Reply to make the call. The two Referees review the replay of the two wrestlers crashing into the Timekeeper's Table. They watch several angles in slow-motion and they determined that although the two wrestlers crashed into the Timekeeper's Table at the same time, that during the collapse of the table, it was Hank Henry III who was able to manage to get his two feet to touch the arena floor first before Modo was able to, so they call the match in favor of Hank Henry III. Referee Chip long calls Stormy Canyon over to where they are at ringside to make the official announcement.
STORMY CANYON: After an Instant Replay review by two Referees, it has been determined that Hank Henry III was the first wrestler to get both his feet to touch the arena floor after climbing out of the cage, so here is your winner, and still the Asylum Wrestling Alliance International Champion, HANK HENRY III!!!!!
TEX: Damn the Instant Replay!
DUFF: What do you want? There was no way to call the match properly without looking at the Instant Replay? Would you still be complaining had the Instant Replay showed that Modo was the winner?
Referee Chip Long raises the hand of Hank Henry III in victory and he hands him the International Title Belt. After he drops the hand of Hank Henry III we see Hank turn and walk up the ramp to return to the backstage area with the International Title slung over his shoulder. Modo has just realized that he didn't win the match and he sits on the arena floor in disappointment.
Winner:
Just moments before the main event happens we see a car arrive at the arena with the limo driver opening the door for a dark figure, but the camera’s cannot see who it is.
Tex Martin: Who is that?
Duff Travers: Time will only have to tell us Tex!!
The scene closes as we are heading backstage
Vs.
Stormy Canyon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!! Currently in the ring, the special guest referee!!! The Monster!!! Chaos!!!
The fans cheer for the man that is standing in the middle of the ring as the music starts to hit for the first competitor
Stormy Canyon: The first wrestler, standing in at 6’3 and weighing in at 235 pounds!! Hailing from the Georgian Back Woods!!! The current Television Champion!!! The Psycho!! Chris Shipman!!!
The arena lights go out as the opening to Du Hast begins blaring. Strobe lights begin flashing as green purple and red spotlights move up and down the ramp and ring as the drums kick in. Smoke fills the curtain area as Shipman walks out from behind it and quickly moves down to the ring in his ripped jeans and noose. He just walks by fans reaching out to touch him and get hi 5's. He gets in the ring and tosses the noose to the floor as the lights go back to normal and the music fades.
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, standing in at 6’4 and weighs in at 237 pounds!! Hailing from Orlando, Florida!!! The Original Psycho!!! Krusher!!!
Breaking Benjamin’s “Breakdown” hits the PA as a huge "wall of fire" pyro blasts up from centre stage. The arena lights begin to glow red and the flames die down. The fans in the arena give a mixed reaction, some booing while others cheer as The Psycho known as Krusher appears from the entrance. He walks down to ring with a purpose. When he gets half way down the ramp, he runs down the rest of it and then slides into ring under the bottom rope. He walks over to the side of the ring, grabs the top rope and lets his anger out in a loud scream while pyro explodes from all four ring posts at the same time. The lights return back to normal and the music starts to fade out as Krusher gets pumped up for his match
Tex Martin: The two brothers are going to be in the same ring, without being each other’s opponents!! But after seeing what happened last week, I wouldn’t be surprised that they will go at it one more time!!!
Duff Travers: I just feel that Krusher is at a disadvantage in this match and I don’t like it!!
Chaos calls for the bell as he stands in the corner of the ring, Krusher stares at Shipman for a few moments before turning his attention towards Chaos and starts to talk to him as he pushes his finger into the chest of his brother before Chaos pushes it aside and then pushes Krusher away from him. As he does that we see Shipman taking advantage of the situation as he rolls Krusher up with a Small Package and Chaos goes down for the count. Krusher kicks out and gets in the face of his own brother, telling him it was a fast count and that he would attack him if he does it again. But again Shipman surprises Krusher as he attacks him from behind and executes a swinging neckbreaker before going for the cover. Krusher gets a shoulder up at the count of two as Chaos signals to everyone that it was not a three count.
Tex Martin: So far Chaos keeps it down the middle
Duff Travers: Down the middle? Didn’t you see that fast count he had on his own brother!! He is screwing Krusher!!!
Shipman gets up and grabs Krusher by the head and lifts him up to his feet and sets him up for an Irish Whip. Shipman bends down for a back body drop, but bends down too soon as Krusher stops in his track and blasts a mighty fore arm across the back of Shipman’s neck and Krusher grabs him by the head and delivers a series of elbows to the back of his head before dropping him with a big time DDT in the middle of the ring.
Duff Travers: Yes!!! Cover him!!
Krusher covers the Television champion, but just as Chaos is about to hit the hand on the canvas for the count of three it is Shipman that kicks out at the final moment. Krusher looks up at Chaos and starts to disagree with him about the fast and slow count. Both men start to push each other as suddenly Krusher wants to deliver a punch towards his brother, but Chaos blocks it and punches him instead.
Duff Travers: Suspend Chaos!! That’s unfair!!!
Krusher wobbles as Shipman grabs him from behind in a Full Nelson position and screams at Chaos to hit his brother. Chaos runs to the ropes and comes off with a running clothesline. But just as he is about to hit his brother it is Krusher that moves aside and this causes Chaos to hit Shipman with the move. Chaos looks on as Krusher grabs Shipman and puts him in his finishing move.
Tex Martin: The Death Sentence!!!
Krusher hits the move and stares at Chaos, who can only go down on the canvas for the count of three as Krusher looks at him while his brother counts to three. Chaos calls for the bell as Krusher gets up and celebrates his victory over Shipman. Just as Krusher gets off the ropes, he gets spinned around by Chaos and a kick in the midsection before delivering the Annihilator Slam before exiting the ring and leaving his own brother unconscious.
Stormy Canyon: The winner of this match!! Krusher!!
Duff Travers: Chaos will pay for that!!!
Tex Martin: Until then, good night everybody!!!!
