The show opens as Goth comes walking out to the arena as he is holding Carrie Stevens at his hand. The young girl is looking nervous at the owner of the AWA as Goth puts the microphone to his mouth
Goth: I hope you are going to win tonight Jason, it would look mighty bad on Carrie’s attitude if she sees her Jason lose again don’t you? And let’s be honest. That would not be the part of OUR deal now would it??
The fans boo Goth as he grins
Goth: I just hope that at the PPV you will make also a good outing when you may secure another title shot in the near future… or else I may just have to take this girl and make her mine… PERMANENTLY!!!
The show goes to a commercial break
We come back from a commercial break and find ourselves in the locker room with Josh Stevens staring into the camera as "Bulldog" Bill Barnhart is pacing like a mad man behind him. As soon as the crew indicates they are ready Stevens begins speaking.
Well well well tonight's the night Axiom. Tonight you find out that all your hanging out with cockroaches in bathrooms and lying until you're blue in the face about yourselves gets you absolutely no where. Tonight you find out the definition of the word pain. Simply put, tonight you lose. We've been going back and forth at each other for the past week and only one thing has become clear to me and that is how truly pathetic you two are. On and on you babble Chaos about how Bulldog and I like to make up our own version of events yet only one thing is true that has anything to do with history. That is that you're going to need to have it taught to you all over again after I knock you out cold and you can't remember a thing after waking up. Like I've said before, tonight is the beginning of the end for Axiom and there's nothing you two can do to stop it. So relax, buckle up, and prepare for the ride of your lives!
The scene fades as Stevens opens a locker and begins to get his ring attire on for the upcoming match this evening.
Jason stevens vs. Russel wayne
BEYOND THE PALE by Exodus hits the arena speakers and we see Jason Stevens step out from the backstage area accompanied by his mentor Steve Ramone. Carrie is noticeably missing from the group and the fans are buzzing with speculation as to where Carrie might be. Jason ignores the mostly negative reaction from the crowd as he and Steve Ramone make their way down the ramp to the ring. Jason climbs up on the ring apron and he ducks through the ropes into the ring while Steve Ramone walks over and takes a seat at ringside to offer encouragement to Jason during this match.
TEX: I am getting so tired of announcing Jason Stevens matches. The guy irritates the hell out of me and Steve Ramone always gets involved in the match.
DUFF: Tex, if Steve Ramone getting involved in the wrestling matches of Jason Stevens made a difference don't you think that Jason would have a better winning percentage? Think, man, think!
STORMY CANYON: Here is our first wrestler for this Standard Rules match, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 175 pounds, and standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, he is JASON "THE SENSATION" STEVENS!!!
The crowd again gives Jason Stevens a rude reaction but they are cut short as MY LAST BREATH from Evanescence hits the speakers. The arena goes dark as lime green lasers shoot around the arena. As Russell Wayne steps out from the backstage area white pyros erupt around the entrance area lighting it up. The lights in the arena come up as the pyros subside and Russell Wayne walks to the landing at the top of the entrance ramp, he acknowledges the crowd, which is giving him a favorable reaction, and then he heads down the ramp to the ring. When he arrives at the ring Russell walks up the ring steps, walks along the ring apron, and then he ducks through the ropes and into the ring.
TEX: It is so nice to see such a good looking and clean cut honest wrestler for a change. We have enough Jason Steven type of wrestlers around here.
DUFF: Oh you are so the unbiased one eh?
STORMY CANYON: Our next participant in this match hails from Manhattan, New York, he weighs 228 pounds, stands in at 6 feet even, please welcome RUSSELL "THE FRANCHISE" WAYNE!!!!!
The crowd again goes into a favorable reaction for Russell Wayne. They quiet down as Referee Chip Long waddles to the middle of the ring and gives pre-match instructions to the two wrestlers. With the preliminaries out of the way Referee Long calls for the bell and this match is underway. Jason and Russell approach each other in the middle of the ring and they lock up. They push and shove each other until Russell Wayne gets the upper hand and manages to maneuver Jason Stevens back into the corner. Referee Long steps in to break the two wrestlers apart. Jason Stevens puts his arms in the air to show he wants a clean break. Russell Wayne breaks and he slowly steps back but before he can make a clean break Jason Stevens lashes out and lands a punch to the side of Russell's head. Referee Long issues a warning to Stevens about the punch on the break.
TEX: It figures that Jason Stevens wouldn't allow for a clean break.
DUFF: You obviously didn't see that when Russell Wayne backed up for the break that he was about to punch Jason Stevens on the break so all Jason did was beat him to the punch...literally...before Russell illegally punched him on the break.
Russell Wayne is not happy with the cheap shot by Jason Stevens and he lets Jason know his dissatisfaction. Stevens ignores what Wayne has to say and he runs out of the corner to attack Russell Wayne. We see Wayne step out of the way as Jason misses his attempt. Russell spins around behind Jason Stevens, he wraps his arms around Jason, and he executes a Suplex on him, slamming him hard into the mat. Russell flips Stevens over and goes for the pin. Referee Chip Long drops into position for the pinfall count. ONE...TWO...and Jason Stevens gets a shoulder up. Chip Long holds up two fingers to indicate a two count. Russell Wayne gets to his feet and he waits for Jason Stevens to get to his feet. Russell runs into the ropes and rebounds off. He leaps into the air to land a forearm to the chest of Jason Stevens but Stevens dives out of the way and Russell Wayne slams into the mat catching nothing but air. Jason is quick to capitalize on the missed maneuver by Russell by hitting him with a knee lift, a few elbow smashes to the jaw, and then he tucks Russell Wayne under his arm and drops him hard to the mat with a DDT. Jason quickly goes for the pin, hooking both legs of Wayne, and Referee Chip Long gets into position for the pinfall count. ONE...TWO... and Russell Wayne kicks out of the pin attempt.
BLUE: This match has been very good so far going back and forth.
YELLOW: Yes I have to agree with you on that comment.
Jason is upset that Referee Long didn't count faster but he cannot change what has been done. Stevens backs into a corner and he waits for Russell Wayne to get to his feet so he can continue he attack upon him. Russell finally gets to his feet and as Jason Stevens approaches him, Russell kicks him in the midsection. This stops Stevens for a moment but then he approaches Wayne and he lands a few kicks to the midsection of Russell Wayne. Jason grabs Wayne by the arm and he whips him hard into the corner and he quickly follows him into the corner and hits him with a clothesline. Jason then drags Russell Wayne out to the middle of the ring and he whips him into the ropes. When Wayne rebounds off the ropes Jason catches him with a drop kick which lays Russell out on the mat. Seeing his opportunity Jason Stevens quickly mounts the ropes in the corner and leaps off dropping a knee to the chest of Russell Wayne. Jason rolls over and hooks the legs of Russell Wayne as Referee Chip Long makes the count. ONE...TWO...THREE!!! Chip Long calls for the bell and he tells Jason Stevens to get off Russell and he does.
TEX: Oh man! I cannot believe that Jason Stevens got the win!
DUFF: You better believe it! It would appear that Jason Stevens is starting a winning streak.
STORMY CANYON: Here is the winner of the match, by pinfall, he is JASON "THE SENSATION" STEVENSSSSS!!!!!
Referee Long raises the hand of Jason Stevens in victory. He then releases the hand of Jason Stevens and Jason exits the ring and hooks up with Steve Ramone and the two walk up the ramp and return behind the backstage partition. Russell Wayne slowly gets to his feet and he looks dejected as he realizes he let this match get away from him. He slowly exits the ring and he makes a slow return up the ramp to return to the backstage area.
Winner: Jason Stevens
The camera joins AWA backstage reporter Tyra Fox in the hallway of the arena that 'houses' the dressing rooms of the AWA superstars. Facing the camera with a smile on her face and microphone in hand, she speaks,
"I'm backstage in front of the dressing room door of perhaps one of the more controversial arrivals here in the AWA in recent memory, the Seven Deadly Sins. Now I have been knocking on their door for a few moments now but so far, noone has answered. There are sounds of movement inside so let's try one more time."
Tyra reaches over with her free hand and raps hard on the wooden door and pauses. A sound emits from inside and she smiles at the camera briefly as the lock on the door is heard to 'click' and it opens slightly ... when the head of a teddy bear pops out, startling her.
"Oh!"
"What you want?"
Tyra looks to the camera with a perplexed look on her face before again turning to the teddy bear.
"I..."
"Hm? What you want?"
"Shhh!"
The door opens the remainder of the way and Despayre peeks out and sees Tyra, then his eyes trail down at her ample...assets? He turns to look at the bear and whispers.
"I think she wants to talk to us. Behave."
Despayre steps back out of the way and holds the bear in the business suit tightly against him and watches as Tyra steps inside, carefully avoiding getting too close to the mentally unstable young man.
"Thank you. I was hoping...oh. Hello."
Tyra sounds somewhat relieved to realize she is not alone with Despayre but Synn stands up from the sofa and Gabriel is in front of a mirror, finishing his last minute preparations. He turns around and looks at her expectantly. Synn approaches Tyra and takes her free hand and plants a light kiss on the back of it before standing upright and gazing at her with those smoldering green orbs of his.
"Now, what is it that we can do for you?"
"Well, I was hoping to succeed where some others may have failed. You've yet to grant an interview backstage and I wanted to get your thoughts on your men’s' tag team match that is coming up here tonight."
Synn nods and turns to Despayre.
"Ah, I see. And would you like to speak to this ravishing lady here?"
Despayre answers by averting his eyes and maneuvering over around to where his tag team partner for the evening, Gabriel is standing, waiting. Synn turns back to Tyra and smiles.
"You'll have to forgive him. He's somewhat shy and still getting used to being around strangers."
"Oh that's alright. I understand."
"As for their match tonight, if I may speak for Despayre? They've spoken up earlier in promotional videos of their own that we're taking them lightly, or that Despayre here and Gabriel have no idea what they're in for. Well..."
He chuckles.
"They speak big, but I would think the only ones they're truly convincing of their own magnificence is...themselves. Their work is known. Gabriel and Despayre's is not. We are in the position of being prepared for what's to come. They are not. Trust me, I look forward to their reactions when they find themselves the ones utterly destroyed and defeated."
Synn smirks and takes a step back and gestures towards Gabriel who Tyra turns to.
"Thank you. You sound very confidant for what's about to come. Gabriel, if I may ask. How do you see this match going against two men who have treated your arrival as virtually unimportant?"
“Underestimating is a dangerous thing”
Gabriel starts
“They can sit there not taking us seriously, but it will only lead to their own downfall. Over confident men make mistakes and the biggest mistake that Hank and Fang will make tonight is not taking us seriously. Look at Hank, all he cares about is hurting someone, gonna be very easy to pick apart and Fang simply not caring… time to make you care Fang”
"And if I may be indulged, how do you see the night working out as far as cohesion with your...partner?"
Gabriel sees it from out of the corner of his eye and turns his head just enough to see Despayre's bear peeking at him from over his shoulder.
“No problem”
Gabriel smirks as he tries to flick the bear away
“Just don’t touch his bear, cause I ain’t cleaning up that mess. We will show these guys that we aren‘t here just to add to a win record, we‘re here to start our own”
“Well said.”
Synn says appreciatively. He turns to Tyra and tilts his head forward.
“Now I never before thought I would ask such an exquisite creature to excuse us, but if you would be so kind…?”
“Of course. Thank you for your time.”
“Not at all.”
Synn escorts Tyra to the door and holds it open for her before closing it behind her, ending the interview.
Gabriel & Despayre vs. Fang & Hank Henry III
“Rolling” by Soul Coughing begins to play as Hank Henry comes out with his limping manager Chaplin Graves from the backstage area. They discuss the pros and cons of the upcoming match, Hank playing to the crowd for a short bit. As the two reach the ring, Hank slowly gets in. His music suddenly cuts out and is replaced very quickly by his tag team partner’s. The arena goes dark, a red reticule appears in the center of the ring that Hank Henry sees. He shakes his head at it as on the AWAtron a large red F comes up as the words, Furious, Fantastic, Fabulous, Ferocious begin to flash on the screen. They flash faster and faster as the screen fills with red. Then in black letters one word remains. FEARLESS. "I'm not Afraid" by Eminem begins to play over the PA as pyros go off and standing in the center of the shower of sparks is the "Man In Black" Fang. He's dressed in a black wife beater, black jeans, and black Airwalks with skulls on the side. He walks down to the ring looking focused on the match ahead of him. He slides into the ring and stands in the center of the reticule as Hank backs away a bit. The lights then go up and return to normal as the crowd gives off a mixed reaction as the sultry voice of Stormy Canyon can be heard from outside the ring.
Stormy: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first already in the ring, weighing in at a combined 468 pounds, the team of Hank Henry and FAAAAAAANG!!!
Tex: Well, two AWA veterans…and their opponents tonight are…
Duff: Two AWA rookies.
Tex: You don’t have to be blunt about it Duff. Give the newcomers a chance.
Duff: It’s hard when you see all these newcomers coming and going. Therefore, I’ll be the one to judge and not you.
The heavy beat of Orgy's 'Opticon' begins to sound over the public address system of the arena. The fans turn their attention to the stage atop the entry ramp to await the entrance of the 'disturbed one' and their wait is rewarded. In hushed awe and scattered jeers, Despayre steps out onto the stage, holding a teddy bear by the fuzzy arm in one hand. The gothic mental case looks about in a sneer and starts to move along the entry aisle, and closer towards the ring. His movements are slow, methodical, and he avoids being touched by the many hands reaching out to him or his bear. Arriving at ringside, he slides "Angel" into the ring and rolls under the bottom rope himself. Again grabbing his 'security' bear, he crawls across the ring on all fours and deposits himself into a neutral corner, Fang and Hank keeping their distance for now. As Despayre makes it to a neutral corner the lights in the arena go out yet Despayre’s entrance music still plays. Flashing purple and blue lights flicker through the darkness as the words “You will believe…” cover the big screen. Smoke appears in the ring as the words on the screen changes to “… what I make you believe”. A flash of bright light jumps up from the middle of the ring, and Gabriel is seen standing already in the ring amongst the smoke and lights, wearing black leather pants and a black leather waist, a long chain hanging from his neck, with a huge medallion with the letter G in a circle. He steps back, leaning back against the ropes near where his partner Despayre is, looking around the fans with an unfazed look across his face as he removes his jacket and lifting the heavy chain over his neck and hands it to the referee as the music begins to fade out. As the referee is ridding the ring of Gabriel’s stuff, Stormy begins to announce the newcomers into the ring but doesn’t get anywhere as Hank Henry decides to go on the attack before the opening bell sounds.
Tex: Typical Hank Henry here, looking to get the one-up on his opponents early and may I add illegally!
Duff: That’s what I like about him. He’s aggressive and he picked out his spot there.
Tex: He certainly scored the first hit as he’s already clotheslined Gabriel down to the canvas.
The referee turns around and tells Hank to get back over to his corner, but Hank disobeys again as he T-bones Gabriel just as he’s getting back up to his feet. The referee assigned to this match looks around and does see that Fang and Despayre have taken up spots in their corners so he decides to make the start of the match official. The bell rings at ringside as Hank is bringing Gabriel back to his feet. Hank suddenly pulls back but only just a bit, enough to plant Gabriel back to the canvas with a face buster. Hank moves to around Gabriel and looks to lock in a half crab, but Gabriel blocks Hank’s attempt to position in the submission move. Gabriel pulls himself away from Hank and suddenly delivers a spinning heel kick, that catches Hank Henry right on the temple. Hank staggers around the ring but into his team’s corner. Fang tags himself into the match and the referee sees it. Meanwhile Gabriel tags in Despayre so the AWA fanbase can get their first look at Despayre.
Tex: That spinning heel kick certainly hit its mark!
Duff: I wouldn’t get excited yet Tex. That’s all Gabriel was able to show. Hank in a word “dominated” him.
Despayre looks over at Fang and the Man In Black stares right back at the newcomer. The two decide to feel one another out as they both hold back until finally Fang tires of waiting and goes to nail a boot to the face. Despayre however ducks and gets behind Fang now. He latches on to the wily veteran and is able to connect up and over with a snap suplex. Fang’s back hits the canvas pretty hard yet he still gets right back up to his feet, whirling around to face his opponent.
Duff: It’s going to take more than that to take down Fang!
Tex: Now that’s something we can agree on.
Despayre reaches out now, faking that he’s going for a clothesline. This actually baits Fang in a bit, but Fang sees in time that it’s most likely a trap. Fang backs up but doesn’t tag in Hank. He instead goes over to a set of ropes and lies against them, nodding for Despayre to be the one to fire the shot. Despayre shakes his head but goes for Fang anyways. Fang pulls down the top rope and Despayre is forced to screech his momentum so he doesn’t go flying to the outside. This small distraction is enough for Fang to grab for Despayre’s head. However as Fang goes for the Fatal Shot, Despayre holds onto the ropes. Fang turns back around, attempting to yank Despayre off the ropes. Fang keeps his eyes on his stubborn opponent as Hank drops off the apron in his team’s corner and retrieves his trademark fork from Chaplin Graves before getting back onto the ring apron. The referee who has been watching Fang and Despayre doesn’t see it. Hank calls out for Fang to tag him in. Fang turns and shakes his head, but sadly enough this is enough of a distraction for Despayre to use. Despayre whips himself off the ropes and on the rebound shoves Fang down to the canvas.
Tex: Fang and Hank are obviously not used to working as a unit, and it’s showing.
Duff: Figures…
Fang gets back up in the ring but Despayre is set up. As Fang turns, Despayre plants Fang right in the sternum with a powerful martial arts kick that’s heard throughout the arena. The crowd ohs but Despayre doesn’t go to pin his opponent. Instead he looks down at Fang for a few moments before forcefully bringing him up to his feet. He then racks Fang and wastes no time this time around with connecting with a Celtic Cross. Despayre looks over at his partner and then chooses to tag Gabriel back into the match.
Tex: Now Despayre looked impressive in all aspects of the game while he was in there. Let’s see if his partner can continue on the offense.
Gabriel comes right into the ring and goes to pin Fang off of his partner’s well-hit Celtic Cross.
Gabriel focuses in on Fang as he’s able to get him with a head and arm suplex. With Fang again back on the canvas, Gabriel sees a window of opportunity. He quickly goes to a neutral corner, climbs the turnbuckle and comes off of it, heading right for Fang’s torso. He connects with a flying headbutt and then hooks the left leg of Fang, putting weight this time on Fang’s shoulders.
Fang: You want in that bad?! HERE!
Fang suddenly trips up Gabriel, sending him crashing to the canvas before heading over to Hank. Fang slaps Hank upside the head and the referee sees this, considering it as an official tag.
Duff: That’s a tag? Sweet! Can I tag you in that way Tex?
Tex: No.
Duff pouts a bit at the announce table as Hank enters back into the ring. The referee sees the fork now and kicks it out of the ring. Meanwhile Gabriel has been able to inch real close to Despayre. Hank is unable to move quick enough and Gabriel makes it to his partner, tagging him back into the match.
Despayre enters back into the fray and really begins to take it to Hank, always being at least a full step ahead of him. Despayre is able to lift Hank up with a scoop slam after he maintains control of the match. From here, he sets up for and nails Hank with a straight jacket suplex into a pinning predicament.
Tex: I believe Despayre calls this the Lobotomy.
Duff: Too bad he won’t be able to hit it! Here comes Fang!
Fang steps into the ring and pushes Despayre right in the back, forcing him to release Hank. The referee tells Fang to get back, but Fang stands his ground. Hank meanwhile goes back to his team’s corner and Chaplin Graves passes up a SECOND fork.
Duff: Another fork? What, does he have a whole silverware drawer over there or something?
Tex: I don’t know.
Fang stops arguing with the referee and goes over to Hank. He yells at Hank to tag him in and shockingly Hank does, making Fang the legal member of that team. Fang grins, but as he turns around, he finds that Gabriel is now in the ring after having tagged Despayre behind Fang’s back but right in front of the referee’s face. Fang doesn’t seem to care though as he reaches out for Gabriel’s head to nail the Fatal Shot. Gabriel however goes to the air just a moment before him though and is able to connect with a jumping neckbreaker. Fang goes down to the mat and Gabriel knows what to do. He climbs to the top of a neutral turnbuckle and stares down Hank real fast before diving off the top, nailing a corkscrew moonsault on top of Fang. Gabriel stays on Fang for the possible pinfall.
Stormy: Here are your winners…Gabriel and Despayre!!!
Despayre enters the ring and the partners just stare out into the crowd.
Tex: It looks like they proved you wrong tonight. Excellent teamwork from the newcomers and I’m sure we’ll see PLENTY more of them.
Duff: Perhaps.
The scene in the arena slowly fades out as Gabriel and Despayre slide out of the ring, leaving Fang to recover all by himself…
Winners: Gabriel & Despaire
The scene switches to the back where we see Big Bad Casey. He is seen walking around the backstage area. He sees the camera and gives a sinister looking smirk, and would like to confront Sin
Sin, you are a coward who likes to hide behind facades and likes to put barriers up so people cannot come in. I will break down those barriers and do things to you to get you to open up. You can talk the talk, but now it is time to see if you can walk the walk.
Casey then decides to take a drink of Gatorade. As he drinks, you hear the chorus of the True Power theme song.
Sin, you think that you can scare me because you are a man who goes between the living and the dead???? That is a joke because I do not get scared by anyone or anything. I will prove that when I defeat you tonight in your debut with the AWA.
Then the scene changes as BBC walks to the ring.
Big Bad Casey vs. Sin
Stormy Canyon: The following match is a special Inferno match! The winner is the one that sets his opponent on fire first!
Duff: Oh I am waiting for this match the PPV is coming around the corner! Two... Two hardcore matches this show! After this the Lightbulb match!
Tex: And what a way for AWA Hall of Famer Sin to return to the ring! Facing off against Big Bad Casey! The rumors are the two have not hit off backstage and the men wanted to settle this like men in a hardcore match.
Stormy Canyon: Coming to the ring from Nashua, New Hampshire! Weighing in at 375 lbs. Standing at 7': "BBC" Big Bad Casey!<.
Music hitting the AWA speakers makes the crowd cheer, the music of Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun". Stepping out is Big Bad Casey on the ramp with his friend John, who is dancing on ramp with his patented moves. On Big Bad Casey's other side is his lovely beautiful wife Laura. and they are walking down together holding hands as pyrotechnics go off as he walks down the ramp.
Duff: The Goliath is sure looking confident today! Man his wife is hot, I have seen some pictures of her on the internet where she is practically wearin... .
Tex: True Power's Big Bad Casey is not a man to mess with something we have seen week in and week out. Something people near me must remember if they do not want their heads to pop like a pimple if they don't shut it up now.
The Lights flicker and go out completely. "Black Sabbath" by Black Sabbath begins to play on the PA system. Sin steps out into the spot light that shines on the entrance stage. The spotlight, itself, flickers and goes out. An instant later, the overhead lights come back on and Sin is standing in the center of the ring.
Stormy Canyon: Coming to the ring! From Parts Unknown! Weighing in at 235 lbs. Standing at 6': SIN!<.
Tex: The AWA veteran and Hall of Famer, Sin is in the ring! Just like that in flash.

Fang is able to roll out of the pinning predicament pretty easily as Gabriel hadn’t pinned the shoulders of the Man In Black. Fang rolls towards his corner, but not close enough for Hank to make a tag. Hank rolls his eyes and looks to be getting frustrated. Chaplin yells from the floor up to Hank, telling him to keep his cool and be patient. Hank again just rolls his eyes as Gabriel begins to follow up on the advantage that Despayre was able to give him.

Fang kicks out, using some energy this time around. Gabriel doesn’t get frustrated but instead looks to reload. He lifts Fang up to his feet and looks to go for what seems to be an Impaler DDT. Hank in the corner can’t take it anymore. He suddenly whips out the fork given to him by Chaplin and sends it zinging through the air. The fork however misses Gabriel as he turns just in time, not even going for the Impaler DDT now, and clips Fang’s side a bit. Fang groans out loud and sees the fork land harmlessly on the canvas. He glares over at Hank and yells at him.

Hank tosses his fork but the referee’s hand slaps the mat one more time.

The referee then feels the fork pierce his back a little bit. He pulls it out of his back though and glares over at Hank Henry as “Come As You Are” by Nirvana starts to play. Hank shrugs his shoulders at the referee before he drops down off the ring apron. The referee gives chase to Hank towards the backstage area as we hear Stormy.
