Goth: WHAT THE... i'll call you back later.... DO NOT EVER spy on me like that again! I pay your wages, damn it!
The cameraman begins to make a sharp exit but stops in his tracks as Goth calls him back. He cautiously enters the bosses office
Goth: You may as well be useful... i've got some people to address. West!! I hope you are going to enjoy your title reign, cuz I got big plans for you losing it!! And Execution? You….
Caught in mid-sentence, the lights in Goth's office begin to flicker, causing him to look confused up at the lights. His confusion turns to frustration as eventually the flickering stops
Goth: Typical... no matter how generously you pay people they can't even do the basic things around here! This kinda crap nearly cost me my match last week! Anyway.. as i was saying..
Just as Goth is about to continue with his tirade, every single light bulb in the room explodes and plunges the office into complete darkness. Goth, although slightly startled in the first instance, can be heard shouting abuse at the camera guy as if it's his fault the lights have blown
Goth: Well don't just stand there! Surely you've got a torch or something on that camera?! They're the best money can buy!
Indeed, the cameraman manages to switch on the torch on top of his equipment. Behind Goth, against the back wall, there is an ominous shadow lurking over the owner
Goth: That's better.... What? What's the matter... scared of the dark or something?!
The cameraman signals to his boss the shadowy image behind him. Just as Goth turns around to inspect for himself, the shadow races across the back wall and disappears, making the cameraman look a fool. Goth turns back to the camera, quietly seething. He stands up as if to kick the guy out of his office, but the crunching of glass under his boots stops him dead
Goth: Get out of here! You're useless... in fact, you're fired!
The cameraman, obviously devastated, drops his equipment to the floor, much to Goth's fury. As the foot steps of the fired crew member fade into the distance, the camera still rolling whilst lying on the floor, the owner of the Asylum flips his cell phone back to his ear to finish his conversation. As he does, the shadowy figure behind him has returned. Goth is totally oblivious
Lupe is in the dressing room talking with Bill Barnhart before his match to defend the Tag Team Titles against James Crow and Chris Shipman, along with the Co-Champion, Th1rt3en. Iris is relaxing on the bed in the dressing room as she awaits the call to make an entrance with Bill.
LUPE: Bill, I wish I could stay here in the dressing room and watch you wrestle on television. I don't want to have to sit next to a couple who are related and inbred.
BILL BARNHART: Lupe we asked them to come to the Cow Palace as our guests so we cannot just ignore them and make them feel bad. Just sit with them and don't talk to them much if you don't want to. We have more money than they do so buy some drinks and snacks for them during the event tonight.
LUPE: But...
BILL BARNHART: Lupe you are the Puerto Rican. You are the Latina. You are the one who always tells me to be more tolerant of others. Then along comes a Hillbilly and his wife, who just happens to be a blood relative, and now you want to get all prejudiced on me? Shame on you!
LUPE: You are correct Bill. I'm sorry I did that. I will do all I can to make their night an enjoyable one. Good luck in your match with Shipman and Crow.
BILL BARNHART: Har har har!!! Lupe you already know there is never any LUCK involved in my wrestling matches. I don't need luck to defeat Chris Shipman and James Crow. Just settle in with our guests for tonight and show them how wrestling fans act in San Francisco. I will see you later when our match is up. Be careful getting to your seats.
Bill gives Lupe a hug and a kiss and she walks out of the dressing room and down to her seats at ringside. Bill relaxes in his dressing room until he is called for his match.
Whiteout vs. Max Maxim
The scene switches ringside where Tex and Duff are seen talking ringside among the sold out crowd at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California. There are signs held by fans everywhere ranging from “Serial Thrilla Marry Me” to “Goth Sucks”. One fan directly behind the commentators holds a sign reading, “Where are the Royal Cows at?” Whiteout is already standing in the ring waiting for the announcement of his match.
Tex: Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Insomnia, I am Tex Martin, and this is my cohort Duff Travers!
Duff: And we are live at the sold out Cow Palace in San Francisco California. Boy I can't tell you how many women keep hitting on me since we arrived in town Tex. It's like I'm a god among men here...
Tex: Uh, you mean all those men wearing womens clothing Duffers? They're called transvestites.
Duff has a look of pure horror on his face as the entire arena grows nearly dark just before the opening of “South Texas Deathride” by The Union Underground hits the PA. During the opening of the song dark red lights pulse through the arena as he steps out onto the stage. Just a few seconds into the intro as the music grows heavy and dark he takes three steps forward as huge fountain of red pyrotechnics shoots straight up into the air, making a curtain effect that burns for about ten seconds as he begins to make his way to the ring. As he walks the ramp lights up as the house lights return to normal he glares a hole through his opponent, rolling his shoulders, checking his wrists, rolling his neck, finally clenching and opening his fists before reaching the ring. From the floor he reaches up to the top rope, pulling himself onto the apron then steps over the top rope. The entire time he watches his opponent, Whiteout, attempting to bore a hole through him with a glance, before the music finally dies out. Referee “Simple” Simon Jones goes over the rules and asks the time keeper to ring the bell.
Tex: And we're off to a great start here as these two men are about to go head to head....OH MY GOD!!!
Duff: Wha? What'd I miss?
Tex: Max Maxim just delivered the sickest Clothesline from Hell I've seen in ages! Whiteout is down and not moving!
Maxim just stands there for a moment smirking before picking up Whiteout by the head and slowly heading towards the turnbuckle. Whiteout is slow to move and Max moves into position lifting him up to the top rope of the turnbuckle. Max carefully then steps outside of the ring and hops up unto the top turnbuckle, lifting whiteout high into the air before jumping off into a career ending powerbomb. Maxim gets up quickly and motions for a final maneuver.
Duff: Oh No! The Maxim Deathride!
Tex: I think this may be one of the shortest matches in AWA History! Whiteout can kiss his wrestling career goodbye!
Max explodes onto Whiteout and uses his massive size to his advantage, pulling the smaller man's chest down onto Max's knees then quickly wraps him up into a choke submission maneuver again using his strength to pull him down into submission. Referee “Simple” Simon Jones checks Whiteout to see if he wants to quit. Whiteout is unresponsive. “Simple” Simon Jones raises his arm once, and drops to the mat almost lifelessly. The Referee raises Whiteout's arm again, and it falls to the mat once more. A third time it makes a small thud on the mat as he gets up and tells the time keeper to ring the bell.
Stormy: The winner of this match by KNOCKOUT........MMMAAAAAXXXXXXXXX MAAAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
“South Texas Deathride” by The Union Underground hits the PA as “Simple” Simon Jones raises Max Maxim's hand into the air as far as he can reach to claim him as the winner. The scene switches...
Winner: Max Maxim
The scene switches backstage where Bill Barnhart is trying to make a call on his cellphone. We can hear what is being said as Bill starts to get flustered.
Bill Barnhart: Why won’t this damn thing work? I know I paid my bill, and it shows that I have signal. Arrg!
Female Operator: If you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator. If you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator.
Bill closes the phone and waits a second, then opens it again and tries to dial.
Female Operator: If you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator. If you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator.
Bill Barnhart: I give up! I’m going to use an actual phone since all this technology is very confusing for me.
Bill walks over to his dressing room and picks up a cordless phone. He again dials a number and we hear the same familiar female operator recorded voice.
Female Operator: If you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator. If you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator.
Bill Barnhart: Damn technology! I just want to make a phone call to ensure that the doggy sitter I have for Iris is okay.
All of a sudden another phone rings, and Bill looks up and walks over to a more older phone set. He looks at it funny and picks up the handset to the rotary telephone.
Bill Barnhart: Yes?
Male Operator: Hi big boy! My name is Carlos. I’m your dirty cabana boy tonight. What’s your name?
Bill Barnhart: This is Bill Barnhart, why are you calling me?
Carlos: Wow Bill, you sound like a big boy, should I come over there and relieve some stress by rubbing hot oil all over that hot and sweaty worked up body of yours?
Bill Barnhart: If you so much as come anywhere near me, I will stick my foot so far up your ass you won’t know up from down! You hear me!?
Carlos: Oh I hear you Big Boy. Loud and Clear. By the way, you might want to look out behind you…
Bill Barnhart: Wha?
Bill turns around and is met with a ‘shocking’ experience as he is being tasered by Ty the Tech Guy. He immediately drops to the ground and after a moment the sounds of electricity cackling stops. Ty walks over to the dropped handset and picks it up, speaking into the mouthpiece.
Ty the Tech Guy: Good Job Carlos. The check is in the mail, along with Bill’s personal home phone number, and cell. Have fun.
Carlos: Oh, no worries. I’m going to be all over him soon enough, if you catch my drift…har har har har!!!
Ty the Tech Guy: Pervert.
Ty hangs up the handset and looks to the jittering body of Bill Barnhart.
Ty the Tech Guy: Bill, you got lucky last time. But no more. I’m tired of your shenanigans and you will see why you’re no better than anyone else, including me. Have fun in your tag match, blubber boy.
Morbius Tassius vs. John Gold
The scene switches back to ringside as Tex and Duff are gearing up for the next match.
Tex: Boy that match between Whiteout and Max Maxim was something wasn't it?
Duff: I don't remember, I think I was sleeping. Where's my beer?
Stormy: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Des Moines, Iowa, weighing in at 240 pounds, MOORRRRRRRRRBBBIIIUUUUUSSSSSSS TAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSS!
Not Falling By Mudvayne starts to blare over the speakers as the crowd goes wild. The words, “Greatness Redefined,” come across the titantron. The song builds up through the first verse as Morbius walks out from behind the curtains wearing only a pair of Execution shorts. His hands and feet are tapped to the forearm and shin and he starts to walk down the rampway. He kneels about halfway down and waits. The chorus hits and pyro explodes from the stage and sides of the rampway as he jumps to his feet. He continues to move down to the ring with one fist in the air. Morbius gets on to the ring apron and then uses the top rope to springboard flip into the middle of the ring. The crowd is booming as the pyro dies down. He moves to all four corners and raises his fist into the air and then pats his chest to the crowd showing that hint of old times.
Stormy Canyon: And his opponent, standing in at 6'3 and weighing in at 260 pounds!! Hailing from Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, California!! The Golden Gun......JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNN GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!
Deep Purple, Perfect Strangers hits on the speaker system. No darkness, no Pyros, no over the top camera effects. As the beat of Deep Purple, Perfect Strangers kicks in John Gold appears from the back grasping a white sports towel. His eyes are completely fixed on the ring as he makes his way past the adoring AwA hardcore fans. Fans try to get a touch of one of the brightest young talents the business has to offer today but he is unphased. When he reaches the ring he slides under the bottom rope, heads to the furthest away corner and raises his arm before tossing his white sports towel into the front row of seats. He climbs down from the turnbuckle and turns, always looking intense and ready for the gauntlet that stands before him in the form of Morbius Tassius.
Tex Martin: Two men that know each other really well, both men that want to go back into the winning mode once more to fight for a title down the road.
Duff Travers: Yeah and both men got something to prove to each other.
Tex: Martin: I don't think Morbius needs to prove anything.
The match gets underway as Morbius gets the upper hand after blocking a right hand from Gold and kicks him against the ribs with a right knee. Morbius lifts the right arm of Gold and then starts to kick the ribs several times, this causing the Golden Gun to fall down to his knees. Morbius runs to the ropes and executes a dropkick to the ribcage of Gold, this causes him to fall down and roll around in the ring holding his ribs. Morbius slowly walks over to Gold and grabs his right arm and places his knee on the ribs as he pulls hard on the arm and bends it backwards.
Duff Travers: Good strategy from the leader of Execution, and too bad that The Golden Boy will come back and beat him.
The referee checks in to see if Gold wants to submit to the pressure that Morbius is putting him in, but Gold refuses to give in. He slowly gets to his knees and then to his feet as he uses his power to push Morbius in the ropes and then executes a slam that sends Morbius hard on his back. Gold holds on to his ribs as he is breathing heavy and then he executes a big time Knee drop to the the face of Morbius before going for the cover. But Morbius manages to kick out at the count of two. Gold grabs him by the head and wraps his powerful arm around the chin in a reversed chinlock. Using his weight on top of Morbius as he is trying to cut off all the oxygen to the brain. Morbius is trying to get to a vertical base and then grabs the head of Gold as he goes for a Jawbreaker. But Gold manages to stop him before then as he pushes Morbius into the ropes and then goes for a running clothesline as Morbius comes off the ropes. But Morbius ducks the clothesline and then out of nowhere Gold hits Morbius' patented finisher on him.
Tex Martin: He delivered New Breed, Morbius' Finisher out of nowhere!!! What the hell??
Morbius goes down to the mat for a long count as the referee counts slowly, One...Two...Three.
Stormy Canyon: The Winner of this match!!!! John “The Golden Gun” Gold!!!!!
Tex: That was uncalled for! Golden Gun or not, that was uncalled for!
Duff: Oh shut it. No one likes a crybaby! I'm glad that Gold won. GO GOLD!!
The scene switches.
Winner: John Gold
The scene cuts backstage and shows the WCC locker room. Suddenly there is a coommotion and the camera pans and sees Shipman with an irate look on his face driving a forklift down the hall. People are diving out of the way as he won't stop for anything. He somehow manuvers it so it blocks access to the WCC locker room. He jumps out and runs off after yelling through the door to WCC. The cameras go back to the ring as "The Funeral March for the Queen Mary" begins blaring all over the arena. Shipman comes out from behind the curtain to a deafing chorus of boos and you suck chants. He shrugs them off as he enters the ring and forcefully takes the microphone from Stormy Canyon.
Shipman: Hello San Francisco. Don't worry, I'm not trying to get out of the tag match later, I'll let them out in time. No the reason I am out here right now is because I want to introduce a very special guest here in the audience tonight. This person holds a spot close to my heart and it is a great honor to introduce Lupe Barnhart.
The crowd cheers at the introduction of Bill Banrhart's wife. Shipman exits the ring and begins looking for LUpe and finds her sitting in her chair front and center on the left side of the ring.
Shipman:There is my beauty. How you been darling?
Lupe: F-off.
Shipman smirks and then viciously grabs Lupe by the hair and pulss her up as the crowd goes nuts. Shipman is begining to turn red and foaming at the mouth.
Shipman: Oh a fiesty one, I like that.
Shipman goes to plant a wet one on Lupe but the Hillbilly punches him across the jaw.
Hillbilly: Let er go you no good armadilla fart.
Shipman pushes the crying Lupe back into her chair and pulls the Hillbilly over the barricade. The Hillbilly lands hard and Shipman mounts him. He procedes to pull a barbed wire noose out from around his neck. He wraps it around his fist and begins punching the Hillbilly over and over again. Blood begins flying off of Shipman's fist and hits teh crowd as it also pools on the floor. Security begins runnogn to rinside to break the fight up. SHipman let's go before they get there and pulls Lupe back up. He begins to caress her face, smearing the blood all over her cheek.
Shipman; I'll see you later tonight.
Shipman goes to try and kiss her again but thinks against it as the crowd cheers as WCC emerges from backstage racing to ringside. SHipman takes off into the crowd and riases his arms taunting WCC. Thirteen stands in the ring yelling at Shipman, as Bill Barnhart checks on his wife.

The TRON then shifts scenes to seversl clips of Bill's wrestling matches where he is either administering his Bulldog or Piledriver to his opponent for the pinfall, or he is using one of his many submission moves to make them tap out. The spotlights focus on the backstage curtains and we see Bulldog Bill Barnhart step through the curtains leading Iris on her leash. Bill comes out dressed in one of his trademark wrestling outfits. Iris is dressed in her Pink Diamond-Studded Dog Collar. Bill walks confidently along the entrance walkway and under the TRON. As he walks under the TRON, pink and white pyros erupt causing a cascade of pink sparks to spill down on the entrance walkway around Bill and Iris. Bill stops at the landing at the top of the entrance ramp to play the crowd with a huge smile on his face even though he gets mostly boos from the crowd. He then takes off with a quick pace to the ring. When Bill arrives at the ring he hands the leash of Iris to an attendant at ringside and climbs the ring steps, walks along the ring apron, and then ducks through the ropes into the ring. Bill walks around the ring to acknowledge all the people in the crowd and he maintains his huge smile all the time although the crowd is booing him for his bad turn. Bill then takes up residence in a corner to await the arrival of his opponent.
