Duff: Here we are folks, one week removed from the biggest pay per view of the year, and WOW is all I can say!

Tex: You said it partner! What can be said about Wrestlequest? I mean, it had it all, hopes smashed, dreams accomplished, feuds ended in bloody fashion, and surprises of the greatest proportions.

Duff: Including Shane West accepting the help of The Family to emerge victorious!

Tex: All week, Shane West has been unavailable for comment, so hopefully he’ll respond sometime tonight! The lights in the arena dim, and the globatron flashes silver as Shane’s voice rings through the sound system of the Arena. “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, AND ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE”! Duff: No Way!

Tex: …I remember that music…

Duff: Sounds like Shane heard you there Tex! Smoke shoots out of the entranceway, and Shane West walks out, wearing a sleeveless leather duster, as well as his wrestling tights, normally colorful amongst the black leggings now dull and gray. He has a grin on his face, and the AWA Universal title is strapped firmly around his waist as he walks onto the top of the rampway. The camera pans out into the crowd, and people are having mixed reactions. The crowd is littered with signs, the most prominent ones however, are “WHY SHANE WHY” and “SHANE IS A TRAITOR TO HIS CAUSE”. Booing and jeering can be heard, and Shane stops on the rampway and just laughs to himself shaking his head, and poses, which brings even louder jeers from the crowd. His arrogant smirk shines through, and he continues the walk to the ring, where Stormy Canyon is standing. He climbs the ring steps, and steps between the middle and top rope, stepping into the ring. Stormy goes to hand him the microphone, but he stops her. He tells her something, and she sighs, raising the microphone to her mouth momentarily as the crowd jeers, threatening to drown her voice out.

Tex: What’s Shane up to here?

Stormy: Ladies and Gentlemen- AWA Fans of the world- It is my distinct… pleasure…

The way she says ‘pleasure’ it is very clear she doesn’t mean it, staring at Shane with a hint of disdain but he ignores her, instead soaking in the jeers of the crowd.

Stormy: to introduce- The 2011 Mic Worker of the year, the WINNER of AWA’s 2011 match of the year, he is YOUR Universal Champion…The Man of a Million Monikers, he is SHANE WEST!

The crowd erupts into boos as the self proclaimed Serial Thrilla takes the microphone from her. He raises the microphone to his lips to speak, but the jeers of the crowd bury him before he can even speak a word. He chuckles to himself, and lowers the microphone for half a second, while waiting for the crowd to finish their jeering and booing. Finally as it starts to die, he raises the microphone back to his mouth.

Shane: Ya’ll done?

Just like that, the heat is back on him, and the crowd again goes nuts jeering him. Rather than a chuckle to himself, Shane pauses to laugh out loud, which gets the crowd even angrier. Finally he lifts the microphone back to his mouth, and begins to speak.

Shane: All week, people have called me up and asked me the same question. “Why Shane Why?!” What can I say other than “Why what?” Why did I make Hank Henry look bad? Why did I win 2 year end AWA Awards? Why did I take Wrestlequest by storm, and win the main event of the biggest pay per view of the year?

The crowd is booing like mad, and the ring is being littered with trash, as people in the front rows begin throwing things at Shane, who ignores the boos, an just laughs.

Shane: You people really think I owe you an explanation? Who in the blue hell do you think you are? This is MY career, it’s MY legacy, and its MY choice. I don’t tell you how to raise your bastard kids, how to advance YOUR career, or how to act- but every lame wrestling fan “in the know” wants to tell me “what my next step should be”. Well, guess what- I don’t CARE what you think!

The crowd’s booing reaches fever pitch, and a fan even jumps over the barricade to try to jump into the ring, but AWA security drags him to the ground. Shane just starts laughing standing in the ring.

Shane: Really? That was your plan? Hop the barricade and get in the ring with Shane West? Everyone in the locker room has spent 3 months trying to take me down, and not a single one has succeeded. You think you would stand a better chance? Wow, it seems that just like everything else, Idiots are “made in Taiwan”. I suppose you want the straight answer- Well, I don’t owe you one. You people don’t know this industry. You think you do, but you don’t. You don’t understand how it works, and that’s ok. That being said, I’ve realized what is important in this industry. That is exactly what I’ve said all along- leaving my mark, cementing MY legacy. This gives me that opportunity, even if that pisses you off. Because you know something?

The Taiwan crowd has had enough and intermixed through the crowd comes a chant that overtakes the audience.

Crowd: YOU SOLD OUT! YOU SOLD OUT! YOU SOLD OUT! YOU SOLD OUT!

Shane: You know what? I knew you wouldn’t understand. That’s ok though, because in the end, I don’t NEED you to understand. In the end, I don’t CARE if you understand. Because it is MY decision, My life, and NOT yours. So that being said, I will continue to shatter records, break streaks, and claim accolades. My career is a veritable who’s who of wrestling legends all falling beneath my boots. Records cracked, Hall of Famer’s defeated, my own admittance to the hall of fame in GWA, countless title runs, the list goes on and on. But let me be clear- I’m not done yet. I want MORE. I want it ALL. When my time comes, and its time for me to leave this industry, I’m doing it on MY terms, and I’m doing it with the knowledge that I gave this industry EVERYTHING, and sometimes that means looking out for yourself. Which is what I’m doing. Hate me if you want, but I’m looking out for #1, because no one else will- especially not you people.

So accept it folks- I’m the #1 star on this show, I’m the champ, and now I have a family of the best of the best. I already ruled Insomnia on top of the card- now I just have the backing to do it alongside Goth, Fang, Bill, 13 and Gold. I’m a Family Man… and you? You’re just cattle. Sheep. Every single one of you. But I have a surprise for you anyway. Later tonight, I’m going to give a gift to every single person in this audience. So, don’t say I never gave you anything.

Shane drops the mic to the mat, amidst a chorus of boos, and heads to the back, the arrogant smirk never leaving his face, as we fade to commercial.

We cut backstage to where Asylum Wrestling Alliance Interviewer, Page Harris, is standing with Bill Barnhart. Bill is dressed in his wrestling attire and he is ready to rock Monday Night Insomnia against Steve Ramone. We notice that Bill has healed fairly well from his brutal match against Ty The Tech Guy but we can also tell he has some distance to go before he is completely healed and that there will be some scars remaining once he has healed. Page jumps right into the interview.

PAGE HARRIS: I am backstage with Bill Barnhart. Bill what are you feelings now that the first two matches, which were previously scheduled, were scratched due to various reasons, which places your match with Steve Ramone as the opening match for this edition of Monday Night Insomnia?

BILL BARNHART: Well I have to admit that I knew after four straight losses that I would be sent back to the bottom of the Cards until I earn my way back to the top and a few more Title shots so it is not a surprise to me. I do wish the first two matches had not been scratched so that my match with Ramone would have been the third match and not the first, but I cannot change what is.

PAGE HARRIS: I see you still have a way to go before you are completely healed from the injuries you sustained during that vicious match against Ty The Tech Guy last week at Wrestle Quest III. Do you think it was wise for you to accept this match instead of taking week off to heal?

BILL BARNHART: Page, unlike Steve Ramone, who flatly admitted that he doesn't enjoy wrestling and that he only does it to put food on the table for his family, I enjoy the sport of Wrestling and I perform in matches out of my sheer love for the sport. I will never walk away from a match unless I am in a body cast or unconscious.

PAGE HARRIS: My final question is why you took offense to Steve Ramone appearing with his autistic daughter in his first segment for the week? You show up with your wife, Lupe, and your English Bulldog, Iris, in your segments, so why is it wrong for Ramone to show up with his family in his segments?

BILL BARNHART: Page, I don't parade Lupe or Iris out in front of a camera in an attempt to gather sympathy from the viewers. I bring Lupe and Iris out in front of a camera for two reasons. One is that I love my girls and the other is that if either has something to do or say which promotes my match then I do it. I mean, come on Page, some things are just not acceptable in any venue. You don't drag your autistic child out on the stage and beg for sympathy because you hate the sport of wrestling. You don't borrow your neighbor's blind child and drag him out on the streets to beg for money for your benefit. If Steve Ramone is willing to exploit his autistic daughter then who will he exploit next? You know what Page? I shudder to think at how someone who is that insensitive with his own daughter might exploit teen girls into prostitution or exploit young boys into dealing drugs.

PAGE HARRIS: Oh, Bill, aren't you being a bit over-dramatic here?

BILL BARNHART: Page, my parents used to give me the following good advice...DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU HEAR...AND ONLY HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE which simply means people lie and people tweak video to suit their needs. It means to be cautious at all times. It means to trust your judgment and your instincts and your gut feelings. The bottom line here is that I only trust myself and I trust myself to defeat Steve Ramone tonight. Sorry Page but my match is up in a few minutes so I need to get going.

Bill turns and quickly walks away from Page Harris as she closes her interview segment.

PAGE HARRIS: There you have it...Bill Barnhart predicting a win over Steve Ramone and with his drive and determination and his love for the sport of Wrestling, I don't doubt he can do it.

The camera pans backstage to “The Fearless One” Steve Ramone doing some stretches in preparation for his upcoming match against “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart whilst his wife Charlotte and his daughter Lucy watch on, the winner of the last match’s music can still be heard but it’s more distant than it was in the area.

CR: Well Steve, almost time for your Insomnia return, you ready for it?

SR: I'm as ready as I’ll ever be babe, and I’d talk to the guys who where here when I was last in the AWA but so much has changed, Bulldog has aligned himself with that jackass John Gold and most of the guys I remember from back then are either gone or retired at Wrestlequest.

CR: Fair point, and speaking of Bill your match against him is next.

Steve stands up and makes his way down to the ringside area.

Bill Barnhart vs. Steve Ramone

We cut to ringside now to kick the show off as Stormy stands in the ring ready to do her best

Stormy Canyon: The following contest is our opening contest, introducing first from New York City, New York weighing in at 200lbs, he is STEEEEEEVEEEE RAAAMOOOOOOONE!!!

Duff: Well here we go Tex, the first show since WrestleQuest 3 and what a night it was!

Tex: Oh yes we saw some great matches, incredible moments and awards along with some new Hall of Famers! But it doesn't end there folks, where WrestleQuest ends we begin all over again right here tonight

The lights dim as “A Lesson in Violence” by Exodus starts to blare over the PA, when the vocals start the lights come on and Steve steps through the curtain, he runs straight to the ring and slides in.

Duff: Steve looks ready but he has a hell of a challenger ahead of him

Stormy Canyon: And his opponent from , weighing in at 240lbs, he is BIIIIIIIL “THE BULLDOG” BAAAAARNHAART!!!

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS by Bach-man Turner Overdrive hits the speaker. The TRON crackles to life and we see a close-up shot of Bill Barnhart and Iris his English Bulldog. The TRON then shifts scenes to several clips of Bill's wrestling matches where he is either administering his Bulldog or Pile driver to his opponent for the pin-fall, or he is using one of his many submission moves to make them tap out. The spotlights focus on the backstage curtains and we see Bulldog Bill Barnhart step through the curtains leading Iris on her leash (Iris is not always present at Bill's matches though - so please check his promos for the week to see if Iris was left home or not). Bill comes out dressed in one of his trademark wrestling outfits (either the pink outfit with black trim with a black heart sewn over his heart...or the black outfit with pink trim with a pink heart sewn over his heart). Iris is dressed in her Pink Diamond-Studded Dog Collar. Bill walks confidently along the entrance walkway and under the TRON. As he walks under the TRON, pink and white pyros erupt causing a cascade of pink sparks to spill down on the entrance walkway around Bill (and Iris if she is accompanying him). Bill stops at the landing at the top of the entrance ramp to play the crowd with a huge smile on his face even though he gets mostly boos from the crowd. He then takes off with a quick pace to the ring. When Bill arrives at the ring he (hands the leash of Iris to an attendant at ringside) climbs the ring steps, walks along the ring apron, and then ducks through the ropes into the ring. Bill walks around the ring to acknowledge all the people in the crowd and he maintains his huge smile all the time although the crowd is booing him for his bad turn. Bill then takes up residence in a corner staring back at his opponent.

Duff: Bill has seen some rough times as of late but I think he is ready to turn things around tonight

Tex: Yeah but Steve is coming off a fresh amount of time off and a victory on the biggest show of the year

The bell sounds beginning the match, the two men start circling inside the ring slowly before heading towards each other Bill raises his hand to the air, Steve meets it and the lock, they repeat this with their other hands for a test of strength, Bill starts to win it forcing Steve backwards bending over onto his shoulders, you can see the struggle on Steve's face but he pushes back, forcing himself back to an up right position he then gets a high kick to Bulldog's left hand breaking the lock before arm dragging Bill to the ground and taking him into a slightly modified arm bar, the crowd so far liking what they are seeing in this straight up wrestling contest Bulldog begins to get back to his feet slowly, turning back to see Steve face to face, he knees him in the gut and breaks the hold, Bulldog takes a headlock and throws Steve down to the canvas with it, keeping the headlock on tight, Steve Ramone now tries to push Bill's arms away from his head but to no avail, he now starts to get to his knees, his face beginning to go red as he does so, up to his feet and then three swift elbows to the gut of his opponent breaking the head lock, Steve quickly runs to the ropes bouncing back and ducks a clothesline from Barnhart, Steve runs to the opposite ropes and again fires back at Barnhart who shoves him down with a shoulder barge forcing the younger man to the floor, Bill now runs to the squared circles ropes and as he comes back Steve suddenly jumps back to his feet and blast a massive drop kick square to the face of the veteran getting a massive reaction from the crowd

Duff: What an amazing display of just actual wrestling from these two

Tex: Yeah it is kind of refreshing to see no screw jobs, low blows, interference, weapons.... these guys are bringing it old school

Steve stands up and climbs onto the top rope and raises his hands to the sky, the crowd cheering like crazy but Steves early celevration catches him un aware as Bill gets back to his feet trying to sneak up behind Steve, he smashes Steve across the back and then climbs onto the second rope and hits a big backdrop from the top, Bill makes the first cover of the night and the referee dives in to count 1.... 2... and a kick out from Steve, Bill stands to his feet and pulls his opponent to his feet but Ramone is quick with a roll up catching Bill by surprise, 1..... 2.... and a kick out from Bill the two men stand to thier feet and stare back at one another in a stand off, the crowd cheer loudly at a great competitive match from both men so far, the two men walk to the centre of the ring and lock up collar and elbow style, Steve turns it to his advantage and sets in a headlock, Bill Barnhart quickly pushes Ramone to the ropes but this time Steve holds onto the ropes, Bill runs to him but runs straight into the boot of Ramone, Steve kicks Bill in the gut, locks his head ready for a DDT, he taunts for it but Barnhart counters flipping Ramone over with a surprising northern lights suplex, Bill keeps the hold in for the cover 1.... 2..... but another kick out Bill holds 3 fingers up to the referee who argues thgat it was a 2 count Bill stands up to his feet pushing back the referee who argues back further, Steve shakes the cobwebs out, sees Bill with his back to him, Quickly acts with a school boy, ONE..... TWOOOOO..... TH.... NO!!

Duff: Another kick out, these guys are giving us a hell of an athletic show down

BIll manages to get to his feet first, Ramone stands up just seconds after, Bill rakes the eyes of Steve Ramone, the crowd boos big time

Tex: Now we are getting to see the real Bill Barnhart, winning by any means nessacary

He pulls Steve in putting his head in between his legs, Bill taunts as the crowd boos loudly, Bill lifts and hits a big time Piledriver! Steve crashes and crumbles under the pressure of the move, Steves eyes roll in the back of his head, Bill drapes his arm over the chest of Ramone ONE...... TWOOOO.... THRE..... rope break! Steve used his wits to save himself on that one Bill shakes his head and stands to his feet once more dragging Ramone to his feet again and does a cut-throat signalling the end, Ramone looks out on his feet, Barnhart holds the head lock on Ramone and goes for a big Bulldog to finish things up once and for all but Steve manages to push Bulldog mid move and force him to land flat on his back, Bill holds his back in pain, Steve stumbles to the ropes, climbs to the top rope and taunts the crowd cheers chanting his name before flying off with a big 630 SPLASH!!! BUT Bill moved last second, Steve crashed and burned, Bill goes for the cover ONE..... TWO..... THRE.... COUNTERED! Steve flips Bill over with his last ounce of energy for a cover of his own, Bill wasn't expecting it ONE.... TWOOOO..... THREEEE!!!!

Duff: I can't beleive it!

Tex: What a match, these guys give thier all, Steve avoided Bills finisher, Bill avoided Steve's finisher and by the end of it all Steve managed to get one last desperation pin to walk away for the win!

Stormy Canyon: and the winner of the match STEEEEEVE RAMOOOOOONE!!!

Steve quickly rolls out of the ring and raises his hands to the air and walks back up the ramp as the crowd cheers, Bill points at him with a angered look in his eyes, Ramone backs up the ramp with a grin on his face as he leaves through the stage

Winner: Steve Ramone

The lights go out with just a solid white spot light aimed at the middle of the stage. ¡°The Truth Shall Set Me Free¡± by Story of the Year begins to play as Anthony Phoenix comes walking out wearing a black Armani suit. Even though Anthony isn't wearing his wrestling gear, he still goes through his entrance. Anthony goes to one knee and puts his head down. Anthony¡¯s bodyguards Vincenzo who is holding Anthony¡¯s 2011 AWA Rookie of the Year trophy and Paulino flank him. As soon as the singer starts to sing; Anthony stands and throws his arms apart in a cocky pose as he holds his head up. Flashing a cocky smile on his face, Anthony starts to walk towards the ring with a very nonchalant gate. Followed by the bodyguards. The crowd rains down a mixture of boos and cheers but nothing fazes Anthony. He makes it to the edge of the ring and looks around as the camera closes in on his face the cocky smile is still plastered across it, as he slides under the bottom rope. Once inside Anthony walks over to the center and looks around with that cocky expression still on his face. Anthony then walks over to the side of the ring nearest the camera and nods directly at it as if he¡¯s acknowledging his television fans. Paulino walks over to Stormy Canyon and asks for the microphone. He then turns and walks over to Anthony. Paulino tries to hand the microphone to Anthony but he shakes his head. Instead, Anthony makes Paulino hold the microphone for him.

Anthony Phoenix: N¨« h¨£o. Zh¨¨ngr¨² n¨« su¨¯ k¨¤n d¨¤o de, w¨¯ b¨´ z¨¤i sh¨¬ y¨©g¨¨ ¨¡b¨¬ shu¨¡ngd¨£ gu¨¤nj¨±n de y¨©b¨¤n, y¨©nw¨¨i w¨¯ sh¨¬ y¨®u yu¨¥h¨¤n j¨©n j¨ªb¨¤i le g¨¦d¨°ur¨¨nw¨´. (Hello. As you can see, I am no longer one half of the AWA Tag team champions as I was defeated by John Gold at Wrestle Quest).

The crowd which is mostly of Chinese origin starts to cheer. Anthony smirks and screams outloud in Chinese.

Anthony Phoenix: Zh¨¥n de, zh¨¥n de? D¨¤nsh¨¬, w¨²l¨´n z¨¤i y¨³ n¨« de y¨©ngxi¨®ng yu¨¥h¨¤n j¨©n ni¨¢nd¨« ji¨¡ng d¨¦d¨¤o t¨¡. (Really, really? It won't matter in the end as your hero John Gold will get his.).

The cheers die down when the crowd hears what Anthony has said.

Anthony Phoenix: N¨« k¨¤n, q¨ªsh¨ª b¨¬ng b¨´ ch¨®ng y¨¤o, w¨¯ sh¨©q¨´ w¨¯ d¨¡ngr¨¢n y¨¤o ch¨¦ngw¨¦i s¨¡n gu¨¡n w¨¢ng gu¨¤nj¨±n z¨¤i y¨©q¨«. (You see it really does not matter that I lost as I'm on course to becoming a triple crown champion.)

Anthony starts to laugh.

Anthony Phoenix: Z¨¤i t¨¡ de r¨¨q¨ªng h¨¦ f¨¡ng y¨« ¡°b¨£oh¨´ ¡°t¨¡ d¨ª g¨¥g¨¥ ji¨¡ng sh¨¬ zu¨¬h¨°u y¨©g¨¨ n¨¢nt¨ª. You ladies and gentlemen, I only need to win the International title to reach my destiny.)

Anthony grabs the microphone and smiles.

Anthony Phoenix: And Ladies and Gentlemen¡¬My destiny will not be denied because that¡¯s the truth according to the Gospel of the Xtreme God, Anthony Phoenix!!

Anthony flashes a broad smile and hands back the microphone to Paulino as his theme plays again.

Alex Young can be seen preapring himself for the tag team match as he sees the camera coming into him as he smiles

Young: Yo man what'sup? Yóu doing fine everybody out there? Trust me, I have enough confidence in my tag team partner and me to make sure that the names of Hank Henry and Matthew Toddi will remember us for a long time. Max and I will bump and grind these two into the ring as the tag team titles will come back to me YO!!!

Alex grins as he spreads his arms

Young: And afterwards, I'm goign to party like it's.... June 6'th 2011!!!!! And ladies? I'll be watching you!!

With that Alex walks off

Alex Young & Max Maxim vs. Matthew Toddi & Hank Henry III

Stormy: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall. The winning team qualifies for the next AWA Tag Team Championship match that will be held!

Stormy is shown briefly near the announce table as “Rolling” by Soul Coughing plays as Hank Henry comes out with his limping manager Chaplin Graves. They discuss the pros and cons of the upcoming match. Hank plays to the crowd for 3 seconds before stopping and looking to Chaplin one more time. He takes off his cowboy hat and just randomly tosses it behind him on the wrestler ramp. The pair makes their way to the ring. As soon as Hank rolls into the ring his music cuts off. Hank picks a corner and then looks to the stage, awaiting his tag team partner for the evening.

Hank doesn’t have to wait long as Isolation by Alter Bridge hits the PA system. Before Toddi walks out you hear the opening lines to the theme.

During the opening riff, a series of amazing red and white fireworks come from all directions. Then Matthew Toddi walks through them. He is wearing a black knee-length coat made from ripped leather. He walks down to the ring, rolls in, stands up in the ring and looks at the fans. He then walks to a turnbuckle and climbs up it. The fans boo and try to throw food and drinks at him. He then gets down and looks over to his assigned partner and puts on an indifferent look

Duff: An interesting team to say the least. Hank used to be a member in Matthew’s Axiom. They’ve gone their separate ways, and somehow they find themselves back together here tonight.

Tex: Both are hoping that they get a win here tonight as both fell short at WrestleQuest last week. Toddi fell to his brother Chaos and Hank was unable to take the AWA Universal Championship from Shane West.

Duff: Don’t know how easy it’ll be tonight. One member from their opponents isn’t happy either. And no, I don’t mean Alex Young…

The entire arena grows nearly dark just before the opening of South Texas Deathride, during the opening of the song dark red lights pulse through the arena as he steps out onto the stage. Just a few seconds into the intro as the music grows heavy and dark he takes three steps forward as huge fountain of red pyrotechnics shoots straight up into the air, making a curtain effect that burns for about ten seconds as he begins to make his way to the ring. As he walks the ramp lights up as the house lights return to normal he glares a hole through his opponents, rolling his shoulders, checking his wrists, rolling his neck, finally clenching and opening his fists before reaching the ring. What Max doesn’t see is his partner Alex Young coming from behind him. Max continues his routine as from the floor he reaches up to the top rope, pulling himself onto the apron then steps over the top rope. The entire time he watches his opponents, attempting to stare a whole through both of them with a glance, before the music finally dies out. As it does Alex Young plays to the crowd and many seem to enjoy his presence. Max turns to the entranceway and just shakes his head and looks a bit pissed off as he now glares a hole into his partner.

Duff: NOT a good idea by Alex Young here. I don’t want to be the one to tick off the Worldbreaker.

Tex: After how he lost to Chris Shipman? Yeah. I’m with you on that one.

Alex finishes his way to the ring and gets into the corner opposite from where Toddi has stepped out of the ring. Hank sees that he’ll be starting the match against Max. Both intently look at one another until the referee assigned to the match finally calls for the bell.

Max Maxim doesn’t wait and runs right at Hank. Hank tries to spin away, but Max connects with a powerful clothesline, knocking Hank right to the canvas. Max turns back around and doesn’t even allow for Hank to begin getting up. He scoops up Hank and sets him into position for a sideway slam. Hank struggles attempting to avoid the impact, but Max pulls through with the maneuver anyways, planting Hank right on his back. Chaplin grimaces at ringside as do all the Hank Henry fans in the arena. Max goes for a cover.

Hank is able to kick out just as Toddi steps into the ring ready to break up the fall. The referee orders Toddi back out of the ring. Matthew holds his hands up and steps back out of in-between the ropes. Toddi however does position himself so he can easily go to the top of the turnbuckle. Max looks Toddi’s way but then brings his mind back to Hank. Max goes to bring Hank up again to keep his offense going, but Hank clubs Max right in the left ankle. Max bends down a little as Hank rolls away and gets to his feet. Hank sees his chance and chooses to tag in Toddi. Toddi looks at Hank real quickly as Hank gets out to the ring apron. Toddi leapfrogs up to the top turnbuckle and delivers a frog splash right to the back of Max. The big man falls to the canvas, but Toddi is down as well, feeling for his gut as that has clearly taken some out of him too.

Tex: Wow! Toddi with an impressive move from off the top rope!

Duff: Too bad he did damage to himself too! What a nutcase!

Both Toddi and Max are down on the mat still and the referee begins to administer a ten count. Both Hank and Alex look into the ring at their respective tag team partners as the referee’s count keeps going up, it now already being at a count of 4. The referee’s count goes up to 6 as Max begins to get to his feet. Toddi rolls over out to the apron and pulls himself up using the ropes at a count of 7. Max turns to where Toddi is and rushes over to gain the upper hand, but Toddi lowers his head and headbutts Max right in the gut. Max teeters backwards and Toddi moves over an inch or two towards where Hank is. Hank reaches out and tags himself in to the match. Toddi looks over at Hank but then just shrugs his shoulders before dejectedly getting back out to the apron. Hank moves to Max and begins to take control. Hank hooks up Max for a German suplex. Max tries to fight it off, but Hank is able to muster up the strength to complete the German suplex, bringing Max crashing to the canvas as the crowd looks on impressed. That mood quickly changes however and the crowd boos as John Gold and Bill Barnhart are shown on the AWAtron backstage watching the tag match in progress on a monitor backstage.

Tex: It looks like the tag team champions are doing some scouting from afar.

Duff: Because they know what Max Maxim would do to them. Also, what Hank would do to them with that fork!

Hank rolls Max over and attempts to go for a cover, but he sees that Max already has his shoulders off of the canvas. Hank chooses to bring Max to his feet, which turns into a mistake as Max whips around and delivers a lariat which knocks Hank into next week. Max looks over to his tag team partner. Alex Young has his hand out, ready to accept a tag. Max thinks about staying in for a moment, but then finally tags Alex in. The crowd cheers for Alex Young as he comes in and grabs Hank, bringing him up to his feet. He locks in a full nelson and Hank struggles inside of it. Chaplin Graves pounds the ringside mat in frustration as Toddi looks on angrily, wanting to be back in there making an impact.

Tex: Toddi wants back in this. And I don’t blame him. He did very well against Chaos last week on the grand stage.

Duff: But he didn’t win. Just like he might not tonight either!

Alex cinches the full nelson in for a bit longer before bringing Hank up into the air a small bit before bringing him down, completing this full nelson slam. Alex goes down for the pinfall and the referee goes to count.

1!

2!

Hank Henry rolls a shoulder, just barely avoiding the 3 count from the referee. Hank pushes Alex slightly away from him and begins to get back up. Hank gets up and looks over at Toddi, asking him if he wants to come back in. Toddi is red in the face and chomping at the bit, so Hank tags him back in. Alex Young waits in the ring and Toddi runs at him. Alex ducks and Toddi ends up face to face with Max Maxim in the wrong corner. Max stomps Toddi back into the ring, right into the clutches of Alex Young just as “The Ripper” by Judas Priest plays. Smoke engulfs the top of the ramp and the crowd all looks that way. Alex drops Toddi mid-maneuver down to the canvas and looks to the stage, as do Max and Toddi. A familiar figure, but now wearing spikes, emerges from the smoke and sneers at the crowd.

Tex: Wait! Is that…is that…Th1rt3en?!

Duff: It looks like it to me! I wonder what his business is out here…

Th1rt3en stomps down the entrance ramp with a purpose as Hank Henry bails from his corner, hopping over the crowd barrier. Chaplin Graves follows suit and they both just look on. Alex Young can smell the danger that he’s in and he rolls out of the ring heading for the hills as well. Max Maxim however just eyeballs Th1rt3en as he continues on his beeline to the ring. Toddi begins to get up, but by this point Th1rt3en is rolling into the ring. Th1rt3en stares down Max before he turns to Toddi. He brings Toddi up to his feet before whipping Toddi right in the direction of Max. Both Toddi and Max are in a corner of the ring now. Max moves to a side a bit, but then doesn’t see Th1rt3en coming. Th1rt3en knees Max first, then knees Toddi as well. He then hooks them both up, looking to go for a double DDT as the referee rolls out of the ring and calls for the bell. Th1rt3en however doesn’t care, even when the bell is sounded.

Duff: A double Lights Out? This would be AWESOME if he could hit it! DO IT!

Th1rt3en drops both Toddi and Max simultaneously and then admires his handiwork. He then stands in the center of the ring and raises both of his arms. He turns and waits to see if either will rise and Max Maxim does begin to do so. Th1rt3en moves towards Maxim and rams him right in the gut with one of the spikes on his ring attire. Max, after feeling the spike, falls forward to the canvas as the crowd in attendance boos. Th1rt3en again stands tall, looking over towards Toddi, who still isn’t moving. “The Ripper” by Judas Priest kicks back into the sound system as Th1rt3en now just looks around. Meanwhile at ringside the referee is consulting with Stormy Canyon. Stormy finally speaks up after a little bit.

Stormy: Due to the interference of Th1rt3en, this match has now been thrown out and is being considered a draw!

Tex: Well there you have it. A decision will obviously have to be made about which team will go on to face Gold and Barnhart for the tag team titles. But that’s NOT the story here.

Duff: Yup. Th1rt3en is!

The scene inside the arena fades out on Th1rt3en, who is just now putting on a massive grin…

Winners: Draw

We cut to backstage where Page Harris is wearing a white button down shirt, a black miniskirt, and knee high black leather boots. Her bright red lipstick looks almost toxic and she flashes a smile at the camera.

Page: I am standing here with one of AWA’s newest wrestlers a man who had a successful debut at Wrestlequest 3, which many view as a great starting point for his career. Please welcome Blake Strummer.

The camera pans out of show Blake standing next to her with a smirk on his face. Blake is wearing a green lantern baseball cap, aviator sunglasses, a black English Beat t-shirt, a pair of worn and torn blue jeans, and a pair of Converse on.

Page: Blake, you made a successful debut at AWA’s Wrestlequest 3 and you weren’t considered to be a favorite to do well at the show, how has your opinion of yourself changed since your win?

Blake shrugs his shoulders.

Blake: Well Page, let it never be said that I am a man of few words . . . uh . . .

Blake then nervously smiles into the camera and walks away, leaving Page standing there speechless. She looks into the camera with a confused and somewhat scared look on her face as she nervously tries to alert the camera man to cut away.

Papa Roach hits the PA system and out comes The Monster Chaos onto the stage dressed in black Jeans and a blue Alterbridge t-shirt, a leather jacket and a grin on his face as he walks down to ringside, he high fives the crowd as he walks down the ramp, he climbs up the stairs and into the ring, the crowd chanting his name over and over as he is handed a microphone

Duff: This should be good Tex, this man had the last match of his long career at WrestleQuest 3, he gave it his all and walked out against Toddi on top

Tex: This guy has had a hell of a career and tonight might just be the last time we see him in an AWA ring

Chaos: Well that was it folks, Last Sunday I walked into that match against my own brother looking to send him a message, trying to slap some sense into him as my last act as a wrestler, and I walked out on top, sure it was brutal and sure that kid is going to go places in the ring, he has more titles in his future and he will be Universal champion one day!

The crowd boos loudly for a moment, Chaos shakes his head

Chaos: I know I know don't hate me for it but you gotta give the kid credit he is good..... just not better than me! I proved that on Sunday, the fact of the matter is though folks between that car crash a few months ago, a broken neck 2 years ago and all the injuries in between I have wrecked my body and the fact is I would rather stop now while I can still move, while I can still get out of bed, enjoy life as a person and not a vegetable in a bed so I decided that I would have my last match on the biggest stage of them all last Sunday and since I haven't regreted the decision, don't get me wrong I love this business but this is my first week off since I was a young kid

Duff: Chaos has been doing this his whole life you know, he has earned everything he has gotten

Tex: And lats Sunday he was put in the histroy books by being put in the HOF!

Chaos sighs for a moment as the crowd chants his name once more, he smiles and mouths "thank you" before the chants begin to die down, he lifts the microphone once more

Chaos: I have had a hell of a career from MCW to GWA right here to the AWA! I have held every championship that was available to me, A 6 time tag team champion alongside both Krusher and Toddi, I am a former Global champion and AWA Universal champion! I have been in 3 Psycho Circus matches, ended careers, had some of the biggest matches in wrestlings history, been in stables from Damage Inc and The Blood Brothers own stable right to the Axiom, last year I spent the 8th months on the biggest roll of my life, I am in the GWA and AWA Hall of Fame, it is unbeleivable but simply put I could never have thought back when I was 4 years old watching wrestling for the first time on TV that one day I would be in this ring doing what I love at the highest level of competition and for that I am greatful

Chaos stands tall as the crowd chants "One more match..... One more match!" and he grins widely

Chaos: Thanks but for the time being I ain't wrestling again, maybe one day I will step in this ring for one more but even then it would have to be something worth coming back for, as for a full time come back, no, im done, its been a hell of a ride folks but this is my last run.... so all I have to say is thank you for the ride and I'll see you all in the future!

Chants of his name hit once more as Papa Roach hits once more as he waves goodbye and exits the ring, he high fives kids on the ramp once more as he turns around at the top of the stage raising his hands

Duff: We will miss the monster that is for sure, there wasn't anyone like him....

Tex: you got that right Duff and I think whether its one month, two years or however long it takes, whether its a match or sitting in the front row I don't think we have seen the very last of the Monster Chaos.... hey wait a minute....

Toddi suddenly comes from behind with a steel chair and smashes Chaos across the back sending him to his knees, Toddi raises the chair again and cracks him over the head again

Duff: NO! This is wrong, Toddi is still bitter over WrestleQuest

Toddi drops the chair and raises his hands as the crowd chants "Asshole!" over and over, he stands over Chaos for a second before pulling him up to his feet, Toddi slaps Chaos across the face which sparks a fire in him, Chaos fires off a right hand rocking Toddi back, he gets another in, Chaos walks over to his brother but gets a thumb to his eye and then suddenly a massive MKO right onto the stage!!!

Tex: Good god! Toddi is just taking out his brother, this should not be the last image we see of Chaos, busted open now too for crying out loud, somebody stop this!

As he says that a shocking one time appearence from none other than the third brother, Krusher storms out on stage, turns Toddi around and bashes him in the face with a right hand knocking Toddi back then a big boot to his face knocking him down to the stage, Krusher picks up Chaos making sure he is okay, his back turned to Toddi

Duff: Thank god for Krusher, the two retired brothers standing tall one last time, now thats more like it Tex!

Krusher raises Chaos' arm, the crowd chant "Blood Brothers!" But that doesn't last long as Toddi crashes the steel chair across the head of Chaos again, Krusher turns around right into another MKO!!! Toddi picks the chair up once more and slams it against the back of Krushers head, Toddi turns his attention to Chaos and points off the left to the stage

Tex: Not again..... no!

Toddi grabs Chaos by the head and launches him right off the stage sending him through the tables stacked with electrical equipment on the side of the stage, the crowd is stunned in silence as Toddi raises his hands into the air before backing out and walks away from the stage as the crowd just sits there silent

Duff: This is just sickening, this is not how Chaos wanted to go out at all, Toddi is out of line and one of these days he is going to get his, mark my words folks!

The EMT's come out with a stretcher, putting a neck brace on Chaos and sets him on the stretcher, the crowd chanting Chaos' name as he manages to raise one arm into the air as he is carted out backstage and towards and ambulance before we cut to a commercial

John Gold vs. Chris Shipman

The show returns to the arena for the main event. The camera pans over to Tex and Duff. Tex is the first to speak up.

Tex: Well it’s been one explosive night as we head towards our two parter Salute to the Troops.

Duff: That’s true but now we’ve come to the main event of the night as the new AWA Tag Team champion, John Gold faces The Reverend Chris Shipman in a Taipei Street Fight.

Tex: Yes and so soon after his battle against Anthony Phoenix in a No Holds Barred match. He went through the ringer in that match, I’m not sure if he can do it again tonight.

Duff: C’mon, it’s John Gold…the man with the Golden Guns. He can do anything.

Just then ARCTIC MONKEYS, "Dont Sit Down" hits on the speaker system. The lights dim and strobe effect starts flashing on the curtain area. No Pyros, no over the top camera effects. As the beat of "Dont Sit Down" kicks in John Gold appears from the back grasping a white sports towel, his AWA tag team strap around his waist. Gold’s eyes are completely fixed on the ring as he makes his way past the adoring AwA hardcore fans.

Duff: And here comes one half of the Tag Team champs. To tell you the truth he should be holding both belts since he won them singlehandedly.

Tex: Yes but it wasn’t easy

Duff: But he won right?

The fans try to get a touch of one of the brightest young talents the business has to offer today but he is unfazed. When he reaches the ring he slides under the bottom rope, heads to the furthest away corner and raises his arm before tossing his white sports towel into the front row of seats. He climbs down from the turnbuckle and turns, always looking intense and ready for the gauntlet that stands before him. The theme slowly dies down as the fans start a “Gold is Gold” chant. As John Gold’s theme dies down the opening piano rif to “Sweet Dreams” by Malaria begins to play all over the arena as the lights turn to a cloudy red.

Tex: To tell you the truth, I can’t get over Shipman’s entrance.

Once the song kicks in Shipman appears from behind the curtain as the stage has bright red strobe lights going off. He walks to the ring with Synn following close behind. Once he gets in the ring he holds the barbed wire noose above his head before throwing it into a corner. He taunts the crowd a bit as the lights go back to normal and Synn grabs the noose. The theme dies down as Synn exits the ring and Shipman turns to face John Gold.

Duff: Well it looks like we’re ready for introductions.

Stormy gets into position for the introductions.

Stormy Canyon: To my left…weighing in at 260 pounds, he hails from Boyle Heights section of Los Angeles, California! He is one half of the AWA Tag Team champions: "The Golden Gun" John Gold

Gold walks up to Shipman and holds up his tag team strap for him to see.

Tex: That’s all well and good but it’s not a tag team title match.

Duff: Well he just wanted to let Shipman know that he’s a champion.

The action returns to the ring.

Stormy: And his opponent, weighing in at 235 pounds, currently residing in the Georgian Backwoods, he is The Reverend of the AWA: Chris Shipman.

Shipman smirks at Gold as he stares a directly at him. The largely Chinese crowd cheers both men. Stormy exits the ring as the referee comes into the view. He asks for the bell as the match starts.

Duff: And we’re off.

Both men approach and tie up in a collar and elbow trying to test each other’s strength. Each are jockeying for position as the heavier John Gold muscles up and pushes Shipman down. Shipman looks up and scowls once again. He slams the mat as he gets up. He motions for Gold to come forward for another tie up. Gold obliges as they tie up again. This time Shipman reaches around and grabs Gold’s hair pulling him down. Gold sits up and starts to protest the hair pulling.

Tex: Shipman with a handful of hair.

Gold gets up and rushes Shipman and lands a spear on him from out of nowhere.

Tex: Woah, a spear from out of nowhere.

Duff: It appears that Gold is through playing around.

Tex: It also appears that Gold isn’t feeling the pain from his WrestleQuest match.

The action returns as Gold mounts Shipman and starts to land forearm smash after forearm smash.

Tex: Wow, I guess this match is now an MMA match with all those forearms landing on Shipman.

Just then Shipman blocks the last forearm shot and lands a shot to Gold’s face This move stuns him allowing Shipman to get up. He grabs Gold by the hair and lifts him up. Shipman then irish whips him into the corner. He then follows with a clothesline which connects solidly with Gold’s neck. Gold’s head rocks backwards as Shipman starts to land punch after punch onto Gold’s midsection. Gold start to slump down as Shipman starts to stomp him to the mat. The crowd starts to boo this move which doesn’t faze Shipman.

Tex: The crowd has turned on Shipman but I don’t think it matters to him as he’s focused on dishing it out on Gold.

Duff: Well Shipman did promise all week that Gold wouldn’t be getting the same treatment. It was going to be worse.

Shipman steps back and taunts the crowd. He approaches Gold and raises him up again. Shipman raises Gold up onto his shoulder and he turns and taunts the crowd again. He turns around to hit the Snake Eyes move on the top turnbuckle. As he attempts this Gold wiggles out and pushes Shipman towards the turnbuckle. Shipman bounces back off the turnbuckle and is hit with a forearm smash to the back. He bounces back and forth for several seconds as he is hit with a forearm from Gold. Upon the last bounce, Gold grabs Shipman’s head and drops him to the mat. The crowd starts to cheer. Gold stomps at Shipman’s body for good measure.

Tex: That was a good serious of forearms.

Duff: Might be the advantage he needs.

Gold approaches Shipman and helps him up as he lands a European uppercut to Shipman’s chin, snapping his head back. Gold goes in for a swinging knee lift but is blocked. Shipman hits his own short clothesline knocking Gold backward to the mat. Shipman turns towards Synn and asks for a chair. Finding one Synn slides it into the ring.

Duff: First weapon in the match.

Shipman approaches as he calls for Gold to get up. Once Gold is up to his feet, Shipman throws the chair at Gold’s face which he catches. But instead of connecting, Gold slams Shipman in the face with it. Gold then turns around and starts to wave for someone to come out from the back. As Gold is waving, Synn comes into the ring and approaches Gold only to get hit by the same chair. Just then Terry Stone, Gold’s manager; steps out onto the entrance. A loud thud is heard as Stone falls to the floor. Anthony Phoenix walks out holding a chair followed by both his body guards Vincezo and Paulino. Gold turns around and smirks at Phoenix. He motions for him to come towards the ring as he exits the ring chair ready.

Duff: Phoenix…he shouldn’t be putting his nose into this match. He was given the night off.

Tex: Well just because he wasn’t wrestling doesn’t mean he was totally off tonight.

As Phoenix approaches Gold walks forward to block the entrance to the ring area. He motions for Anthony to get closer when all of sudden he stops. Gold furrows his brow as he continues to motion for him to get closer. Phoenix drops his chair and smiles. As this was going on Shipman has gotten to his feet and walked up behind Gold. Gold turns around as he is smashed in the face by a closed fist. Shipman motions for Phoenix to come forward. Phoenix slams Gold across the body with his chair as he calls for Vincenzo and Paulino to find a chair. Phoenix turns towards Shipman and calls for The Crucifix Bomb. Once the table is set up, Shipman places Gold into position. Hoisting him up he comes down onto the table making it splinter into pieces. Shipman then drapes himself over Gold for the pin as the ref drops down for the count.

Duff: NO he can’t win this way. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ref: 1…2…3. Stormy: Here’s your winner…The Reverend Chris Shipman. Shipman gets up starts to celebrate with Phoenix when out of nowhere Shane West appears and hits Shipman with a chair. Phoenix tries to stop the attack and is met with the same chair. West then hits both of Phoenix’s body guards and Synn for good measure. West then returns to Shipman’s prone body and slams the chair onto his body again. West holds up the chair as the show comes to an end.

Winner: Chris Shipman
