The show opens with Goth sitting behind his desk and grinning as he is ready to address the crowd

Tonight I’m going to talk about our next PPV. It is going to be a night where the championship belt will be contested in an elimination chamber match. The number one contender Shane West and the champion Anthony Phoenix are already contesting the match as they are one of the six men that will fight for it

Duff: Six?? Yeah!!!

Goth: Starting next week we will have two qualifying matches and the week after another two to determine who will advance to the big one. In the meantime the champion and the number one contender will fight each other in a match that will make their lives look like HELL. All to make the people happy wouldn’t you all like that??

The crowd cheers in response to that

Goth: Oh and one more thing, West? That stunt you pulled last week at the show? I’m going to make you pay for that… Mark my words… Mark my words.

With that the show starts off

Tex: The time has come, Duff, for our one on one interview with AWA's #1 contender for the Universal Title... Shane West!

Duff: Lucky us.

Tex: Alright, we're connecting via satellite, so give it a second here...

The Globatron flares to life, and suddenly Shane appears on it, wearing loose fitting gym pants, and a non-descript t-shirt. Behind him is the large trophy case with title belts he has won in his time in AWA, GWA, and McW. It's obvious we're in his 'trophy room' in his house! He gives the Insomnia crowd his infamous winning smile, which causes a huge cheer from the crowd. He sits momentarily, fixing the small microphone pinned to the lapel of his shirt, before holding a hand up, which silences the crowd.

Tex: Welcome Shane, thanks for being our guest tonight!

Shane: No problem Tex. I'm just sorry I couldn't be there in person, but the doctor had requested I take some time away to help the knee recover. So ever since last week's outstanding Breakout event on ABC, I flew home to Fayetteville, North Cackalacka and did some physical therapy, iced the knee... the works.

Tex: Well, Shane...we knew about the MCL Sprain, but then in last weeks tag match against New Wave, it looks like you hurt your knee again, possibly even worse. Any news?

Shane: There has been news, Tex. All good news. No surgery necessary, just some physical therapy, ice, rest- the works. You know, the stuff I've been doing for almost a week and a half straight now.

Tex: Any word on when you'll be 100%, and able to be back on Insomnia?

Shane: Aww, miss me Tex? It's alright. I miss all my fans there in Detroit, MI too!

Shane pauses for the cheap pop, which goes over rather effectively as the crowd erupts into cheers being mentioned by name.

Shane: The Doctor said that my knee is operating at 90% right now, and given another week, will be at a full 100%. So...like it or not, it looks like you're going to be seeing more Shane West next week, as I return to Insomnia, live and in person!

Tex: Alright... Shane. We have a series of questions here for you. The first being the obvious one. The Tag titles. Right now you're still listed as 1/2 of the tag team champions, but you gave Morbius your tag belt and walked away! What's the story?

Shane: "Execution" is the tag champions of the AWA. The problem we run into is that before that match occurred, I lost the right to be a member of Execution. I have been 'exiled' from Execution, if you will. By Goth's own decree, I am not able to compete as a member of 'Execution' for the rest of my AWA career. As such, I can't defend my half of the tag titles. Its up to Morbius to work with management to find a suitable replacement.

Tex: Alright, well, as #1 contender, are you going to be able and ready to compete against the champion, Anthony Phoenix?

Shane: Right now, like I said, my knee is on the mend. The 'Golden Age of the Phoenix' as our champion called it, is indeed at hand. I'm not going to take anything away from him. A week prior to him defeating Bill Barnhart for that title, Bill crashed my knee into the announcers desk you're sitting at injuring it and beating me in the process. Phoenix is a competitor, and a good one.

Duff: A Month ago, you jumped him. 3 weeks ago, Morbius and Crow pushed him in a coffin off the side of the ramp! Are you seriously going to sit there and spout 'I respect him' garbage?

Shane: Duff- that was war. A war I'm no longer part of. As for the coffin, I tried to call that whole ordeal off. Not my fault Crow tripped and fell. I'll take the blame, sure. I won't apologize for it either. That being said, that is the history. We're talking about the here and now.

Tex: So Phoenix 'complimented' you on your 'failed attempt' at mind games.

Shane: Yes, yes... 'the manipulator of the ultimate mind game'. Anyone notice that this guy has almost as many nicknames as I do? "King of Xtreme"; "The X-treme Saint", and more! Lets be honest about something. Last week, I took exception to his calling himself 'X-treme'. Oh, I don't doubt he has it in him. I saw it in him in the Dog Collar match. However, he is definitely not the 'King of X-treme'. Not as long as I am around. "The X-treme Saint"? Only if I'm the Pope of Hardcore. You see, Phoenix, what most of these fans know, is my history, my background. I came from the backyard wrestling industry where neon lights and tables and ladders were the norm. I came from a place where 'Hardcore' didn't even begin to describe it. Then I fought my way to GWA, and my god, if they didn't know hardcore. Ask Bill. Ask Goth. They all took place in the Psycho Circus match, and that thing was the epitome of the hellmouth. It was a match that ended careers. Only one person was in every version of that match. Only one person went through it, and came back for more...twice even. That person was me. Shane West.

Tex: Uh, I hate to interrupt Shane, but we're closing up on our time, and you've kind of went off book-

Shane: I'm very much on book, Tex. You see, Phoenix. I have lived, breathed, and excreted hardcore. You want to be the "King of X-treme", you can claim it all you want. It just doesn't mean anything yet. As Ric Flair says... "You want to BE the man, you've got to BEAT the man". When it comes to Hardcore... I AM the Man. I am the Epitome of Extreme, the Sensation of Innovation, and a Hardcore Hero. So here is what I have for you Phoenix. This is the 'Golden Age of the Phoenix' for you? Then let us start it off RIGHT. Pick your poison, Jack. Any stipulation you want, EXTREME Rules. Just you, me, and the weapons, cage, ladder, table, whatever the hell you pick. Full Throttle 2...just 3 short weeks away. You and me, for your title. Pick a stip, any stip. We'll see who the King of X-treme is, and more than that, who's the true deserving Universal Champion...

All of a sudden Gothminister’s Darkside hits the PA and Goth can be seen walking out with a rather pleased look on his face despite the booing from the crowd. He puts a microphone up to his mouth and looks up at the Tron.

Goth: Before you put your mouth where your ass is West allow me to inform you of what will be taking place. Be Careful what you wish for because it just might come true! Like I’ve said only a few moments ago. You, and Anthony Phoenix will be squaring off at Full Throttle II as two automatic contenders in the Cage Elimination Chamber, where we will have four other people fighting for the chance at the title, contending for it starts next Insomnia. The week prior....

Shane: EXCUSE ME!?

Goth: THE WEEK PRIOR.....you get your wish. But there will be a special guest referee, someone that hates you both with a passion. Anthony Phoenix names his vice, but it will be the both of you paying the price when I am the special guest referee! Oh and Shane? Just to make you wanna feel all welcome next week?? I’m going to be the one squaring off against you inside that ring… Then you truly know who is the King around here.

Goth smirks as Shane just takes off his microphone on his lapel, gets up, and walks away leaving the camera staring at empty space in his house, with the trophy case behind him. The camera fades to black, and the Globatron returns to the AWA logo.

Tex: Well there you have it Duff! Shane West just challenged Anthony Phoenix! Phoenix gets to pick ANY stip, as long as its extreme!

Duff: Wow... Shane just dug himself his own grave. I hope he didn't like having a career...With the boss at the helm who knows what will happen?!

Tex: We've watched him progress through 3 seperate companies Duff. we announced those brutal psycho circus matches. We know how much punishment Shane can take. I have to say, its intriguing. Only question I have is... what will Phoenix have to say? And let’s not forget!! Next week!! Goth vs. West!!!

The camera fades to black for commercial.

Tex: Hey there Insomniacs, and welcome to Monday Night Insomnia. We have a hell of a night lined up for you-

Duff: Anthony Phoenix has a non-title match with The Golden Gun, John Gold, we have Fang versus Alex Young, we have a Hardcore Triple Threat match with 3 new superstars...2 of them ladies!

Tex: Well now, that isn't even beginning to cover-

Duff: Normally when girls say they're into hardcore action-

Tex:Thats enough, Duff! We have tonights main event, and we also have a one on one interview with Shane West, the #1 contender for the Universal Title, who's at home resting up after his devastating knee injury 3 weeks ago at the hands of Bill Barnhart.

Duff: Wait, what? We have to listen to that blowhard?

Tex: We're going to see what the doctors say his status is, and if he's ready to go.

Duff: I guess there is one upside... if he's at home, he's not in the building!

Jinx vs. Whiteout vs. Ebony Mae

Stormy: The following is a Hardcore Triple Threat Match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Montreal, Canada, She weighs in at One Hundred and Thirty-Five pounds. Ladies and Gentleman I give you JINX!!!!!!!!!

"Freak on a leash" hits as the lights fade to a dark shade of crimson red as Jinx appears at the top of the ramp. As her theme blares, she is seen walking down the ramp stopping dead center as she taunts the crowd. Running down the rest of the way, she slides into the ring from under the bottom rope as she crawls to the center of the ring. Now standing in the middle of the ring, she taunts the crowd once more with a devilish look upon her face. Facing the titantron, she prepares herself for the match to come. She backs up to one of the turnbuckles and waits.

Stormy: And next, hailing from Levittown, New York, He weighs in at two hundred and forty pounds. Ladies and Gentleman I give you Whiteout!!!!!!

Kodo hits over the P.A. system and the lights go out except for one lone spot, aimed right at the wrestler's Entryway. Whiteout enters with the kimono on, and bows toward the ring. The music begins with his first step after the bow. He calmly walks towards the ring, and walks up the steps. Once in the ring he takes off the kimono, and performs a kata in time with the music. After he stops the music dies and he takes to one of the corners as well.

Stormy: And next hailing from San Francisco, California and weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds. Ladies and Gentleman I give you EBONY!!!!!!!

Darkness descends on the arena as Going Under hits the P.A. system. The spotlight hits the entryway as Ebony steps around the corner standing at the end of the walkway to the ring. Rather than walking she takes off at a run with her hands held high in the air as she tumbles using flips and cartwheels to make her way to the ring landing in a perfect dismount on both feet just outside of the ring facing the audience. Much as though she were at a competition she turns towards the crowd and pumps a fist into the air to hear the roar of them, feeding off of their energy as she climbs into the ring. She then moves to her corner and looks at her opponents. Stormy exits the ring and the ref moves to the middles and looks at them all. He nods his head and calls for the bell.

Tex: Looks like things are gonna get started with style tonight Duff.

Duff: Not really Tex. Have you seen who is in this match? That man out weighs them both by at least a hundred pounds. They have no chance at this.

Tex: Did you forget this was a hardcore match?

Duff: Point taken Tex.

As the bell rings they all run for the middle at each other. Whiteout takes them both down with a double clothesline when they meet. The two of them hit the mat hard as Whiteout seems to be stomping on them both in sync. Ebony rolls out of the ring and Whitout starts to work on Jinx. He picks her up by her hair and whips her into the ropes. On her return he goes for a sick looking kick but she slides between his legs and gets back to her feet. As he turns around he’s met by a nice dropkick from Jinx. She goes for the quick cover but there is a kick out at two. Jinx gets back to her feet and lays a couple of boots into the man and then goes up to the top rope . Whiteout quickly sees what’s happening and gets to his feet before anything can happen. She jumps anyways and hits him with a Super Huracanrana. She rolls over and goes for the cover again. Kickout at two. Jinx rolls way and gets back to her feet. She walks back over to him to go for another move but he kip ups to his feet and looks her in the face. She goes for another drop kick at that moment but he side steps it and kicks her in the stomach mid air. Jinx hits the mat with a thud and she looks like she has the wind knocked out of her. The camera pans back and shows the whole ring as you see tables now set up on all four sides. Ebony has her arms crossed and she is smiling as she is watching the match.

Tex: Seems Ebony is thinking like a Veteran and letting the others wear themselves out Duff.

Duff: Who cares about that Tex, look at all the pretty tables.

Whiteout get into the ring and goes to hit Jinx with a modified reverse power bomb. Ebony slides back into the ring with a chair and cracks him in the back of the head. He drops to his knees and she cracks him with it again. He falls the rest of the way to the mat and she goes for the cover. Two count and a kickout. Ebony drags the man to his feet and pushes him against one of the ropes. He still looks a little out of it and she tosses him a chair. Out of instinct the man catches the chair and ebony goes for a dropkick. At this point Jinx has gotten up as well and moves at full sped towards them with a kick of her own. They hit the chair into his face as if perfectly times and he goes over the top rope. Whiteout crashes through the table on the outside and hits the floor. Ebony gets back to her feet along with Jinx who then look at each other and smirk. Jinx goes for a high kick and Ebony ducks out of it and goes for a low only to miss when Jinx jumps out of the way. The two of them go back and forth for a couple minutes trying to land solid hits but failing.

Tex: Looks like this match just came down to two people.

Duff: You never know Tex.

Jinx finally gets a hold of her and sets her up for a power move. Ebony rakes her eyes and is immediately let go of. Ebony grabs her by the arm and put her foot to Jinx’s chin. She falls backwards and hits her with the Greet Defeat. Jinx hits the mat hard and Ebony goes for the cover. One..two…kickout by Jinx. Ebony looks pissed as she stands up and is grabbed from behind by Whiteout. He spins her around and goes for a clothesline but she ducks under and waits for him to spin around. She hits him with the Greet Defeat as well. Jinx rolls out of the ring to try and recover and Whiteout is on the mat with his eyes closed. Ebony calls to the crowd and is answered with cheers as she climbs to the top rope. She give the thumbs down signal to Whiteout and leaps from the top rope. She connects with her 630 senton move and goes for the cover. One…two… Jinx tries to dive back in for the breakup…three. The bell rings as Ebony rolls away from Whiteout and she sits in the corner. Jinx slams her hands down on the mat and starts to make her way to the backstage.

Stormy: Here is your winner…EBONY!!!!!!!!!!

Tex: That was a heck of a match there partner.

Duff: You got that right Tex. She was lucky this was a hardcore match.

Ebony stands up to her feat and raises her arms in the air for her victory. Going Under starts to play again as She goes to get out of the ring.

Winner: Ebony Mae

Not Falling by Mudvayne hits over the P.A. system interrupting the victory celebration of Ebony. Morbius walks out to the stage wearing nice shoes, black slacks and a button up shirt. His sunglasses are in there usual spot and he has both tag belts slung over his shoulders. He smiles and raises them into the air as the crowd roars. Ebony is in the ring still and looks up to see him. Morbius gets handed a mic and motions for the crowd to die down a bit. The music dies as he holds the mic up and begins to speak.

Morbius: Not bad…not bad a t all. You know I’ve seen you before Ebony. But that’s not important. The past has no weight here in the AWA. The past should not matter to those who fight for there future. And you look like a person who is ready to move on from being a broken little girl to being a woman who kicks ass and takes titles. So here’s what I’m gonna do for you. I’m gonna keep and eye on you. I’m gonna watch and see what comes of you. Not in the way that James does…

Morbius shivers a bit and the crowd laughs. Morbius: You have promise and I can use people like you. Who knows…you may just have what it takes to carry there with me.

Morbius holds up the titles again and Ebony looks and smirks at the tag team champ.

Morbius: We’ll see. Until then. I can only give you one hint of advice. Don’t lose.

Morbius tosses the mic and walks backstage as the show cuts to commercial break.

Fang vs. Alex Young

SEVEN DAYS OF THE WOLVES by Nightwish hits the speakers in the Arena as the lights go out and a fox hits the entrance area while a red light cases a glow upon the fog. The TRON comes to life and we see a quill pen writing on a black piece of paper. As the paper turns we see the name FANG written on the paper. Under the name FANG appears the phrase: "SIGN YOUR NAME ON THE LINE AND YOUR SOUL IS MINE!" Jonathan Porter makes his appearance from the backstage area and he walks through the fog carrying the rolled up black piece of paper in his hand. He holds the paper up in the air as the crowd gives him a mostly negative reaction. Fang then confidently walks down the ramp to the ring. He climbs the ring steps and ducks through the ropes into the ring. He plays the crowd for a bit before settling back into a corner to await his announcement by Stormy Canyon.

TEX: I simply cannot stand Jonathan Porter! He is one of the most arrogant Wrestlers in Asylum Wrestling Alliance!

DUFF: So a Wrestler cannot be arrogant when he is good and he has held many Title Belts? How much more arrogance do you think Fang will become after he defeats Alex Young and regains his place as a Contender for the Universal Title Belt once again?

TEX: Probably enough to make me puke my lunch. Besides he is the International Champion so not likely he will get a shot at the Universal Title any time soon. He will be defending the International Title for now.

STORMY CANYON: This next match is a Standard Rules Match and it is a Non-Title Match. Due to a medical emergency, the regularly scheduled wrestler for this match, Owen Idol, has been replaced by the current International Champion, Jonathan "FANG" Porter. So please welcome from Long Pond, Pennsylvania, 6 feet even and weighing 220 pounds, he is JONATHAN "FANG" PORTER!!!

The crowd again erupts into a mostly negative reaction for Jonathan Porter. The crowd quiets down as they hear CAN'T BE TOUCHED by Roy Jones hit the speakers. Their attention is drawn to the entrance area and they don't have to wait long until Alex Young appears from the backstage area. He quickly walks under the TRON to the landing at the top of the entrance ramp. He stops on the landing and as he raises his arms in the air pyros cascade down from the TROM while a row of pyros on each side of the landing shoot up from the landing around him. The crowd gives a favorable reaction to Alex Young and he then heads down the ramp to the ring. When he arrives at ringside he runs toward the ring and dives under the ropes into the ring. He then pops to his feet and plays the crowd a bit before backing into a corner to await his announcement.

TEX: Alex Young is a very nice and well-liked wrestler as you can see by the reaction of the crowd.

DUFF: There is a reason that the saying goes: NICE GUYS FINISH LAST Tex. Nice doesn't win wrestling matches.

STORMY CANYON: Our next competitor is from Miami, Florida, he comes in at 6 feet 6 inches and 255 pounds, he is "IRRESISTIBLE" ALEX YOUNG!!!

Alex Young steps out from the corner and he acknowledges the crowd as his name is announced and the crowd again gives him a favorable reaction. Referee "Chocolate" Chip Long steps to the middle of the ring and he motions for Porter and Young to come to him. Long explains this is a Standard Rules match and that the winner is by pinfall, submission, count out or Disqualification. He explains that if the 15 minute time limit runs out then the match would be declared a Draw. Referee Long further states that although the International Champion is now involved in this match, it is a Non-Title match so if Alex Young were to win, he would not obtain the International Title, but would likely be placed high on the Contender List for the International Title. However, Chip Long explains that he hopes it doesn't come to a Double Disqualification and that he hopes we can have a clear winner in the match. Chip Long instructs both wrestlers to return to a corner to await the bell and they both go into a corner to wait for the start of the match.

TEX: Okay now for a little rundown on these two wrestlers before the match begins. Alex Young did really well in the Tag Team match at Breakout considering that he was teamed up with a wrestler who didn't carry his half of the Tag Team. Therefore I see that he will do quite well against Jonathan Porter in this match.

DUFF: Don't get ahead of yourself Tex. Fang may have lost the Universal Title recently but he made a hell of an impressive comeback last week to obtain the International Title in a Fatal Four Way match. I see Alex Young as maybe lasting five minutes before Porter wins the match.

TEX: Well I consider the victory Porter got to obtain the International title to be tainted. He didn't pin or make to submit the other dominant wrestler in that match, Th1rt3en, so until he can accomplish that I have an asterisk next to his win last week to obtain the International Title. However I guess all we can do is watch this match and see if his win last week was a fluke or for real.

DUFF: Oh...it was for real.

Referee Long walks over to the side of the ring where the Timekeeper is located and he motions for him to ring the bell and this match is officially underway. Porter and Young come out of their corners and they lock up in the middle of the ring. Fang gets a quick advantage as he breaks the hold and lands a knee to the midsection of Alex. As Young doubles over Jonathan quickly puts him into a DDT maneuver and he drops Alex hard to the mat. Fang quickly rolls Alex over and goes for the pin but Young kicks out at a one count.

DUFF: There you go Tex that is typical of the style of Jonathan Porter. He is quick to take advantage of every opportunity.

TEX: Nobody, not even Jonathan Porter is going to get a pinfall over Alex Young in the first 30 seconds of a match.

Both wrestlers get to their feet and face each other again. We can see that Alex is acknowledging the good maneuver on the part of Jonathan Porter but Fang is not breaking his concentration simply because his opponent is making that gesture. The two wrestlers lock up again and this time it is Young who obtains the advantage as he is able to back Porter into a corner. Referee Long quickly steps in and demands a break. Alex is very cautious and slow to break as he expects Jonathan to pull something on him. Before Young can make the break Porter reaches back and he lands a hard punch to the side of the face of Alex. Young quickly retaliates with several hard punches to the head of Porter in return. Chip Long is aggressively pulling the wrestlers apart and he finally manages to break them. He turns his back on Fang while he is pushing Alex Young back and telling him to move away so that Jonathan Porter can come out of the corner. Before Chip Long can turn around to say something to Fang, we see Porter drop down and dive through the legs of Referee Long and then he grabs the ankles of Alex Young, pulls hard, and this causes Young to drop backward to the mat. Fang quickly drops an elbow across the chest of Alex Young and then he attempts another pin attempt, this time he hooks the legs of Young. Chip Long gets into position and delivers a pin count. ONE...TWO...but Alex Young gets a shoulder up and the count is broken at two.

DUFF: Another near pinfall there Tex. What do you have to say for Alex Young now?

DUFF: * YAWN * Okay, so Jonathan Porter got two "closies" in this match already. Don't you know that "closies" only count in Horseshoes and Hand Grenades?

Porter looks over at Referee Chip Long and he is complaining that Long was too slow to get into position for the pin count and too slow to count once he was in position. Porter slaps the mat with his hand three times quickly to instruct Referee Long in the proper procedure for counting a pin attempt. Referee Long waves Fang off and informs him that HE is the Referee officiating this match and to shut up about his officiating. Jonathan stands up and gets into the face of Long and the two are nose-to-nose arguing with each other. Alex Young gets to his feet and he cannot believe what is taking place. He walks over to Porter and taps him on the shoulder and then he takes a few steps back. When Fang turns around Alex lands a hard Mule Kick to the face of Jonathan Porter. Fang's legs are wobbly after the Mule Kick and he drops to his knees. He is about to get back to his feet when Young rebounds off the ropes and hits Fang with a baseball slide, driving his feet hard into the chest of Jonathan. Porter falls back and Alex leaps on top of him to attempt a pin. Chip Long gets into position and goes for the count. ONE...TWO...TH... but Fang kicks out and the count is stopped at two-and-a-half.

TEX: Great move on the part of Jonathan Porter there eh Duff? You NEVER take your focus off your opponent during a match. That small lapse in concentration nearly cost Jonathan Porter this match.

DUFF: Nearly costing him the match and actually costing him the match are two completely different things.

Alex Young is quick to get to his feet and he positions himself for an attack when Jonathan Porter manages to get to his feet. As soon as Fang gets to his feet Alex Young leaps at him and manages to land a knee to the midsection of Jonathan Porter. He then slips behind Fang and applies an abdominal stretch on him. He has it locked in and since they are in the center of the ring Fang cannot reach the ropes to break the count. Young is telling Referee Long to ask Porter if he will submit but Fang refuses to submit. Showing he is a true champion Jonathan musters up all his strength and he manages to flip Alex Young off him and to the mat. Fang steps over to where Young is on the mat and he drives his boots into the chest and face of Alex and Chip Long is quick to step in and push Porter back and give him a warning for the illegal blows. Jonathan pushes Referee Long aside and he continues to go after Young. Porter grabs the leg of Young and he drops an elbow across the knee area of his leg. Porter does this several times to Young and everyone can see that Alex Young is hurting from the blows to his leg. Jonathan stands up and he quickly places Alex into a figure-four leglock and he locks it in. Fang has the figure-four in place and they are in the middle of the ring so Alex cannot reach far enough to grab the ropes for a break.

DUFF: Oh well, it would appear that Alex Young is done for this time. His leg is hurting...the figure four leglock is adding to the pain...and he cannot reach the ropes...to bad.

TEX: The match isn't over yet Duff. We still have ten minutes remaining in the fifteen minute time limit and Alex Young is not submitting with this hold so we could end up with a Draw or Young will get out of this hold and he could win the match.

DUFF: Yeah, and I just bought a One Dollar Super Lotto ticket and I expect to win the Jackpot on the draw tonight. Sheesh!

Young refuses to submit which shows he has the courage to stay in the match until there is no other possible solution. Alex sits up and he begins punching the head of Jonathan. Referee Long grabs the fist of Young and he issues a warning about a closed fist hit. The only option Alex has is to try to turn the hold over to release some of the pressure. He uses all his remaining energy to turn the hold over and once it is turned over Fang manages to reach out to the ropes which causes Referee Chip Long to untangle their legs and break the hold. Alex crawls away from Fang to buy some time as Jonathan pulls himself up by the ropes. Porter leans against the ropes and he is looking across the ring as Alex Young who is just managing to stand up by holding on to the ring ropes. It is obvious his legs are still hurting him. Porter flies across the ring to clothesline Young over the ropes but Alex ducks down at the last moment and Fang misses the clothesline and he flies over the top rope and onto the arena floor. Referee Long pushes Young back and then he turns to the ropes to start the count on Porter.

TEX: This should be the end of Jonathan Porter. He landed hard on the arena floor and I doubt he will return into the ring before a ten count.

DUFF: Fang is not going to give up this easily.

* ENDING NUMBER ONE FOR A FANG VICTORY: Referee Long is starting his count on Fang who is outside the ring on the arena floor. ONE...Porter is stirring and he is to his knees. TWO...Fang stands up and starts to walk around the ring. THREE...Alex Young is watching Fang closely to see where he will attempt to get back into the ring. FOUR...the count continues as Porter reaches up to grab onto the ropes and he is about to pull himself up on the ring apron. FIVE...Young cannot contain himself as he runs across the ring and slides into Fang hitting him with his boots. Referee Long stops the count as Alex Young is hanging half outside the ring. Porter gets to his feet and he grabs the legs of Alex Young. He doesn't pull Alex Young outside of the ring but he instead drags him toward the corner and then Porter whips the leg of Alex Young hard into the steel ring post. Fang then climbs into the ring and he drags Alex Young to the center of the ring again. Fang quickly re-applies the figure-four leglock and he locks it in and leans back. This time when Referee Chip Long steps in to ask if Young will submit he quickly taps out from the pain. Referee Long calls for the bell to end the match and he demands that Porter release the figure-four leglock which he does.

TEX: Damn! The only reason Jonathan Porter won is that he cheated by slamming the leg of Alex Young into the steel ring post. He should have been Disqualified for that by Referee Chip Long.

DUFF: Did Fang do anything which is classified as more illegal than all the illegal punches and kicks and sliding into him with his boots? Uh huh! This is not a one-way street Tex.

STORMY CANYON: Here is the winner of this match, by submission by using the figure-four leglock, JONATHAN "FANG" PORTERRRRR!!!!!

The crowd gives a mixed reaction to the win by Jonathan Porter. He quickly leaves the ring and he quickly makes his way back up the ramp and he disappears behind the backstage partition. We return our attention to the ring where Alex Young is to his feet and he limps out of the ring without requiring assistance. The crowd gives Alex Young a mostly favorable reaction as he limps up the ramp to return to the backstage area.

Winner: Fang

John Gold is followed walking down the corridor before his standard rules match with the Universal Champ Anthony Phoenix. Bruce Dixon appears from behind the camera and catches up with Gold.

Bruce- John, what’s on your mind going into this matchup tonight?

Gold stops walking and stares into Dixons eyes.

Gold- Tonight I’m going to shut this little bitch up once and for all. The true King shall rise soon enough. Mark my words.

Gold continues making his way down the corridor with a focused look on his face.

Anthony Phoenix vs. John Gold

Stormy: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a non title match. Introducing first from Los Angeles, California…John Gold!!!!!!!!!

Deep Purple, Perfect Strangers hits on the speaker system. No darkness, no Pyros, no over the top camera effects. As the beat of Deep Purple, Perfect Strangers kicks in John Gold appears from the back grasping a white sports towel. His eyes are completely fixed on the ring as he makes his way past the adoring AwA hardcore fans. Fans try to get a touch of one of the brightest young talents the business has to offer today but he is unfazed. When he reaches the ring he slides under the bottom rope, heads to the furthest away corner and raises his arm before tossing his white sports towel into the front row of seats. He climbs down from the turnbuckle and turns, always looking intense and ready for the gauntlet that stands before him. He moves to his corner and awaits his opponent.

Stormy: And next hailing from Arlington, Virgina. He is your AWA UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!!!! Anthony Phoenix!!!!!!

The lights go out with just a solid spot light aimed at the middle of the stage. As the guitar riff of “The Truth Shall Set Me Free” starts Phoenix walks out with his hood over his head. He stands in the middle of the spot with his head down. When the lead singer starts to sing, Phoenix looks up and rips off his hood. He holds out his arms as he taunts the crowd, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Phoenix then starts to walk towards the ring with the spot light still on him and with a smirk on his face. Phoenix stops right as he gets to the ring. He shakes his head and walks over to the ring steps and walks up the steps slowly and deliberately. Once on the apron, he enters the ring. Once inside Phoenix walks to the middle of the ring all the while the spot is still on him. When he reaches mid ring he stares at the camera as he holds his arms up forming an 'X'. Phoenix scowls at the camera as the song ends. He hands over the title to the ref who shows it to the crowd and then hands it outside the ring.

Tex: here we go .

Duff: Let’s watch the champ tear this boy apart.

Phoenix and Gold lock eyes as the ref calls for the bell. They meet in the middle and lock up in a classic collar and elbow. John drives Anthony to the corner and then releases as the ref calls for the break. Anthony locks back up with Gold and then drives him back into the other corner. The ref calls for the break and Phoenix does and then kicks Gold in the stomach. Anthony lays a couple more boots into him and then stops when the ref starts to yell at him. Phoenix grabs Gold and whips him to the opposite corner. He runs and connects with a knee to the face as John hits the turnbuckle. Gold collapses to the ground and Anthony goes for a quick cover. One…two…kickout by Gold. Phoenix gets up and taunts to the crowd, laughing while he does it and is met with a shoulder check behind his knee. Anthony goes down hold on to his knee. John slowly gets to his feet and looks down at Phoenix as he starts to drop boots on the fallen champ.

Tex: Looks like the champ made a rookie mistake there Duff.

Duff: It does look that way Tex. But I’m sure the champ is just putting on a show for us.

Tex: If you say so partner…

Gold get him back to his feet and hits him with a vertical suplex into the mat. Gold immediately gets up and stomps on him a couple more times. Gold drops down towards his legs and locks him in a knee bar. Phoenix starts to cry out as he is reaching for a rope but he can’t get to it. He tries to scramble and the ref is seeing if he wants to give up. Phoenix shakes his head no and starts to kick at John with his other leg. After a couple of hard kicks Gold releases the hold and rolls away from Anthony. He turns around as he gets to his feet only to be met by a dropkick from the champ. Anthony goes back on the offensive with rights and lefts and finial a clothesline to put Gold down to the mat. Phoenix gets up on the top rope and leaps as he hits Gold with the B.F.E. He goes for the cover after holding his own gut for a few moments. One…two…kickout by Gold. Phoenix gets in the refs face after he gets to his feet and starts yelling at him to count. Phoenix picks Gold back up to his feet and hits him a couple of more times and then rest him in the corner on the turnbuckle. He steps away and then goes for a spear at Gold but he falls out of the way as Phoenix connects himself with the ring post. Gold quickly grabs Phoenix’s legs and rolls him up for a pin. One…two..th..kickout by the champ.

Tex: That was a close one!!

Duff: Come on Phoenix!! You can do it!!

Gold gets to his feet and starts working back on the knee of Phoenix. More stomps and a few small torques . Then he locks in the Golden Death-Lock. Phoenix starts to cry out and the ref checks to see if he is okay again. He starts crawling to the ropes and John tries to drag him back but he gets his hand on the rope. The ref calls for the break and john lets go. Gold gets back to his feet and turns to face Phoenix, who is now on his knees. The ref checks out of the ring for any interference because the crowd started to erupt but there is nothing. As the ref looked the other way Phoenix hits Gold with a low blow and drops him to the mat. Anthony goes for the cover. The ref sees the cover and slides down. One…two…thr..kickout by Gold. Anthony is furious. He gets back in the refs face and chews him out. The ref starts to warn him and all of a sudden the champ is pulled backwards by a rollup from John Gold. The ref counts as he doesn’t see Gold holding the tights. One…two…three! The ref calls for the bell as John rolls out of the ring laughing and points up at Anthony who is now sitting there shocked in the ring.

Stormy: And your winner is…JOHN GOLD!!!!

Tex: Well that was a heck of a surprise Duff.

Duff: Your telling me. What a cheap way to win the match!

Tex: Didn’t you see what….you know what? Nevermind. Nice win for John Gold.

John walks up the rampway still laughing and patting his chest and the camera pans to an angry Phoenix as the show cuts to commercial.

Winner: John Gold

We cut backstage where Asylum Wrestling Alliance Interviewer, The Statement, is standing with Bill Barnhart to conduct an interview based on the Main Event which Barnhart will be appearing in tonight. Bill is already dressed in his wrestling attire and The Statement is dressed in...well...very little...looking more like a swimsuit model than an Interviewer...on well...

THE STATEMENT: I am here with Bulldog Bill Barnhart and...

BILL BARNHART: WHOA!!! Why in the hell are you interviewing me? Where the hell is Page Harris? She is way better looking than you are and she always interviews me.

THE STATEMENT: Please don't interrupt me like that. I am only doing the job Management sent me to do. Page is busy interviewing someone else right now.

BILL BARNHART: And who might she be interviewing who is more important to interview than I am?

THE STATEMENT: Chris Shipman I believe.

BILL BARNHART: Oh man is this what it has come to? I drop the Universal Title Belt and next thing I know Chris Shipman is more important to interview than I am? Oh well since you are already here go ahead with the interview.

While the interview is going on and while The Statement is moving the mic from himself to Bill Barnhart, we notice that the mic cuts out often while Bill is speaking but not when The Statement is speaking.

THE STATEMENT: Bill, I have been checking all the sports pages and based on input from the fans, it appears that the team of Max Maxim and James Crow, representing Execution, are the favorites in this match.

BILL BARNHART: They are the....? ....I don't think so buddy. Me and Th1rt3en are...and nobody can...because that is the...HEY! Why is this mic cutting out on me?

THE STATEMENT: I don't know Bill. Maybe they are having technical difficulties in the Studio.

BILL BARNHART: Technical difficulties eh? How come when you speak it never cuts out but when I do it cuts out constantly. Are you turning the mic off on me Statement? Because if you are...and you will be sorry...HEY! Dammit! Stop turning the mic off on me!

THE STATEMENT: Bill! I am NOT turning the mic off on you. Here you hold the mic if you think I am dissing you and turning the power off on the mic. That way I can prove I have nothing to do with it.

The Statement hands the mic to Bill. Barnhart snags the mic and he checks all the settings to ensure the mic is on. Bill taps on the mic...he blows into the mic...he does a test-test-test and everything is working perfectly so the interview continues.

THE STATEMENT: Now that you are satisfied that the mic is on and working and that I cannot touch it to do anything to it let us continue with the Interview. So you disagree with Execution being the favored team but what about Axiom and the team of Hank Henry III and Chris Shipman?

BILL BARNHART: I addressed that in my promos during the week. Chaos and Toddi are...as you will see and Shipman and Hank will...I promise you that...HEY!!! Okay, that does it! I have had enough of these insults! Someone in the Studio is cutting the mic out on me and I am going to kick the crap out of the person responsible for this!

THE STATEMENT: But...

Barnhart throws the mic hard to the floor. He then runs down the hallway to the Studio while a cameraman follows him to catch the action. Bill kicks the Studio door open and the Studio Director is shocked at the intrusion. Barnhart gets in the Studio Director's face and demands to know why they are insulting him and cutting off his mic. The Studio Director explains to Bill that all their equipment is working perfectly. He tells Barnhart that the signal from the mic is arriving in the Studio perfectly. Their outgoing signal is being broadcast perfectly. The only explanation the Studio Director can come up with is that computer geek is intercepting the transmission and modifying it before it is received by everyone. Barnhart realizes that what the Studio Director is telling him could be the explanation he has been looking for. Bill spins around and as he is storming out of the Studio he nearly knocks over the cameraman. He takes the opportunity to make a few comments into the camera before returning to the dressing room.

BILL BARNHART: I am not a happy camper people and my opponents in the Main Event are going to be the recipient of my anger. And for whatever computer geek is intercepting my transmissions and messing with them, I am gonna track you down and...then you will...because I am starting to think that...Tech Support person...and...HEY! Damn you! I will get you for this! That is not a threat...that is a promise!

Bill shoves the cameraman out of the way and the cameraman slips and falls to the floor. He manages to turn over and focus his camera on Bill Barnhart as Bill stomps down the hallway toward his dressing room.

West Coast Connection vs. Axiom vs. Execution vs. Hank Henry III & Chris Shipman

Stormy: The following contest is for one fall and it is for the number one contendership for the AWA tag team titles!!! And this match will be under Elimination Tornado Tag Team Rules!!!

The fans go ballistic over the announcement being made by Stormy Canyon as the music from one unlikely team starts playing

Stormy: The first team to enter the arena are being accompanied to the ring by Chaplin Graves and Synn!!! Chris Shipman and Hank Henry III!!!

Hank’s music plays as the two men enter the arena as they are followed by their managers. Hank and Chris get in the ring and await the arrival of the next team.

Their first opponents!! Representing the Execution!!! James Crow!!! And Max Maxim!!!

The music from the Execution hits as the two men enter the arena as they are being booed by the fans

Stormy>And their opponents, representing the Axiom!!! Chaos and Matthew Toddi!!! Axiom!!!

The arena lights go off and the titantron is a black screen with ‘TRUTH’ on it and after a couple of seconds it fades away and ‘AXIOM’ appears on the screen in white letters. ‘Tear Away’ by Drowning Pool hits over the P.A system and the fans are already starting to boo wildly. Chaos and Matthew Toddi walk out onto the entrance ramp and look at all the booing fans. They walk down the entrance ramp and they tear away some of the fans signs that have lines and crosses through the word Axiom. They get to the ring and Chaos climbs the steps as Toddi slides under the ropes, they then go up to the top ropes parallel from each other and stand there looking at the fans that are heavily booing them. They jump down, Chaos does some stretches by pulling the ropes and alternating is body position as Toddi practices his Maui Thai kicks until their next opponents arrive.

Stormy: And their final opponents!! The combination of Bill Barnhart and Th1rt3en!! The West Coast Connection!!!

The opening chant of Centre of Eternity begins to play as smoke fills the top of the ramp way. Pink and purple lights hit the fog as behind it a strobe light simulates lightning. As they rise up from the floor, the music kicks in and out from the middle of the smoke walks Bill and 13. They flex, then look at each other and sprint to the ring. 13 shakes the ropes as Bill slides in under, then once both men are inside the ring they do a fist bump and take off their jackets.

Tex: Interesting confrontation, 8 men in the ring at the same time as 3 teams needs to be eliminated to be declared the number 1 contender. I…., here we go!!!

All four teams go at it, we see Hank Henry and Crow go at it, while in the other corner we can see Shipman deliver several forearm shots to the face of Bill Barnhart. The referee is letting things go as we see 13 deliver a clothesline that sends Maxim over the top rope. The powerhouse slides out of the ring and grabs Maxim’s head and slams it in the guardrail on the outside of the ring. He follows it up with an Atomic Drop and then delivering a Flapjack on the concrete floor before the fans go nuts over the last ever TV champion.

Duff: How can they cheer this idiot on? He’s all brawn and no brains!!!

13 turns his attention towards Duff Travers as the man suddenly shuts his mouth as 13 starts to point his finger towards him before shouting at him. The fans go ballistic as 13 warns Travers for keeping his mouth shut before sliding back in the ring to help his tag team partner. We can see Bill being double teamed by an unlikely combination of Chris Shipman and Chaos. On the other side we see Toddi beat on Hank Henry who blocks a few punches before clotheslining Toddi. Hank grabs the legs of Toddi and delivers a headbutt on the lower region of Toddi.

Tex: That got to hurt!!

13 grabs Shipman by the head and turns him around, he delivers a mighty clothesline that sends the Reverend down to the ground where 13 grabs him by the head and lifts him up to his feet. 13 sets Shipman up for a Powerbomb, but Shipman frees himself out of the clutches by reversing the move with a back body drop. Shipman then turns around to see that Chaos has been reversed in an Irish Whip that he wanted to deliver on Barnhart. As Chaos comes back from the ropes, he is met by a big time dropkick from the former Universal Champion. Barnhart grabs Chaos by the head and starts to pound away on it until he sees an Cross Body Block come to him by Toddi. This surprises Barnhart as it causes Toddi to get the first pin attempt in the match. Only to be stopped by Barnhart that bench presses Toddi in the air.

Tex: What power!!

Toddi looks amazed as Barnhart turns around and is seeing Toddi coming towards him with a flying clothesline, as this time Bill is ready and catches Toddi and turns around quickly to deliver a modified Bulldog Headlock. This causes Toddi to drop facefirst into the canvas and to be turned around. Chaos tries to get to his feet to stop Bulldog, but 13 delivers a big time Belly to belly suplex that prevents Chaos to make the save for his brother.

Stormy: The first team to be eliminated from this contest is the team of Chaos and Matthew Toddi!! Axiom!!!

Bill and 13 look around as they see the teams of Crow and Maxim left and the team of Shipman and Hank duke it out with each other as both men stand there and await what is going to happen. We can see Hank reverse an Irish whip from Crow as that causes Crow to be levelled by a spear from Shipman. From the outside we can see Maxim getting back in the ring, trying to surprise Hank Henry, but the veteran moves out of the way and counters a clothesline into a DDT in the middle of the ring. Hank covers Maxim as the referee gets down for the three count.

Stormy: The second team to be eliminated!! Execution!!

Hank and Shipman stare at the two men in front of them as Hank gets face to face with 13 while Shipman and Barnhart are at it in the other half of the ring. Shipman blocks some blows from Barnhart before kicking Bill in the knee cap. Shipman grabs the leg and delivers some elbows to the knee. On the outside it is Hank that is chopping away on the massive chest of 13, but the big man seems to be not feeling it before delivering a mighty blow that sends Hank down to the canvas. 13 picks up Hank and lifts him up and delivers a big time body slam before going for the cover. But Hank manages to kick out at the count of two.

Duff: Get up!!!

Shipman turns away from Barnhart and jumps up the neck of 13 as the he locks in a sleeperhold. The big man starts to fight to stay on his feet, but slowly gets to his feet. This gives Hank the chance to walk up towards Bill Barnhart and lock him in a sharpahooter, but just as he does so it is Bill that rolls Hank up in a small package as at the same moment 13 falls backwards on top of Shipman. The referee goes down to go for the three count on Hank as Bill holds on to the bottom rope out of sight of the referee and wins the match.

Stormy: The winners of this match by pinfall!!! 13 and Bill Barnhart!!! West Coast Connection!!!

Not Falling by Mudvayne hits over the P.A. system as the match comes to an end and Morbius steps out form under the titantron. He hold up both belts to the crowd and to the ring. He drops them at on the floor and picks up a mic. The song stops as he starts to talk.

Morbius: Nice job boys but not good enough. With my new style and my new will I am not like I was before. You can’t hold a candle to me in this ring or any other. I am the holder of the Tag Team Championships and I am going to be unstoppable. Good luck and I’ll see you boys soon. And when that happens you will be…Executed!!!

Morbius drops the mic as his music hits on the P.A. system again and he picks the belts back up and holds them high while staring at the ring.

Tex: I think Morbius just told them how it is Duff.

Duff: I hope he knows what he is doing Tex!

The two of them stare up at Morbius with death glares and the show fades to black.

Winners: West Coast Connection
